This week we have been so excited in D2 as we have met our class pet hamster 🐹🐹 We voted for the name ‘Hammy’ and we are enthusiastic to research and find out how to take care of him. Diolch @MrsMartin2015 for Hammy! 😁@DeriSchool

A huge da iawn to D3 who performed their carol service for the residents of Ysgwyddgwyn. #Community #LegenDeri

Deri Primary would like to say a HUGE thank you to Mr and Mrs Owen @beckie_owen for their kindness and generosity, donating a pair of football posts to the school. The children are absolutely buzzing with excitement! Diolch yn fawr iawn. @DeriSchool ⚽️💙🤍

This week in Dosbarth Dau we collaborated to create our final Flugtag designs! ✈️ Experimenting with a range of materials and equipment, we had so much fun! Diolch @MrsMartin2015 for judging our competition 😃

Nothing like a bit of friendly rivalry on a Saturday morning #legenderi @MrWJonesDP

Dosbarth Dau have been inspired by the Red Bull Flugtag event. This week we have been designing our own machines and experimenting with a range of materials, ready to build our own! ✈️😃

Dosbarth Un have been busy this Anti-Bullying week thinking how to be a good friend and making wreaths. Throughout the week they wrote good deeds onto hearts to add to our kindness tree -take a look at how full it is! We are lucky to have such thoughtful children in the class 🥰

Lots of happy faces this morning!

Eco Club were thrilled to learn that a hedgehog was spotted in our forest school area! So this week they have been busy making sure that the hedgehog house is cosy and warm, and there is plenty of food and drink for the hedgehog before it goes into hibernation. Da iawn pawb 👏🏼

They are amazing D1. We are passionate about our community at Deri Primary School. #LegenDeri
