We’ve had lots of fun using our imaginations to think about which pet we would really like to have if we could have ANY pet in the world! We took inspiration from the amazing ‘You Choose’ book by Nick Sharratt and had some amazing discussions about our choices! @MabLanePri

We just love show and tell in Year 2 Orange, we always look forward to it on a Friday. It really helps us to develop our speaking and listening skills and we love finding out about things that are special to our friends. @MabLanePri
The children were amazing in their PE lesson with our football coach this afternoon. They listened well and really enjoyed participating in activities to help them to develop their ball control skills. @MabLanePE @MabLanePri
2 Orange are continuing to develop their ball skills in PE. This week we were working on precision, trying hard to throw our balls and beanbags into the hoops to gain points. @MabLanePE
We are maths superstars in Class 2 Orange! We are learning all about place value this term and here we are learning how to partition numbers into tens and ones using a whole part model and base 10 equipment to help us to develop our understanding. @MabLanePri
We have had lots of fun exploring instruments in our music lessons. We were trying hard to keep in time with the beat to a familiar song using our instruments. @MabLaneMusic
Lots of team building exercises taking place in PE last week. The children worked on their ball skills as well as developing their abilities to work as part of a team. @MabLanePE

We had a great last session with our cricket coach this week! We worked on our batting and fielding skills and finished off with a class game of drop the ball! @MabLanePE @MabLanePri
Our PE lesson today was focussed on throwing and catching skills. We worked hard to develop our under arm and pull throws and finished off our lesson with a throwing competition. @MabLanePE
We won our race to 10 attendance challenge 🙌🏼💯% 🌟 so 2 Green are having a lovely afternoon relaxing with a picnic and games as a reward! @MabLanePri
