Alright, language people - can someone explain to me why the 'i' in 'give' and 'five' is not pronounced the same? Doing reading and phonics with a very inquisite 5 year-old, and I have no clue how to answer 😂

17 years ago today, 18 y.o. me landed in London, excited to see what it'd be like to live in a different country (and in a city!) but also terrified of all the what-if. It's been a heck of a ride so far, and a lot of things have changed, but I'm still so glad I got on that plane.

Been on @TicketmasterUK website since 8am, website crashed countless of times, finally get through and all that is left is at least £358 ... Tried to change the date and was sent back to the end of the queue. Gutted. #oasis2025

Dropped my car off for it's MOT ✅️ found a coffee shop nearby while I wait ✅️ remembered to bring my computer to do some planning/marking ✅️ computer refuses to switch on ... 😑 typical. Hoping it's just the battery.
