So much to say about this kid & his story. Richard saw a light at the end of his tunnel & @CTE_SPS helped him get there through the College & Career Academies. A+ will take him across the finish line. I cannot wait to teach alongside this incredible young man. 💙🧡💙

Future Teachers @Hillcrest_SPS had so much fun learning about Active Classrooms with @CoachBrum today! They will be begging to incorporate them into their next lesson plan writing assignment!

Hey @Target, where's your #NorthsidePride? Thank you for offering merchandise for 4/5 @officialSPS high schools but I would love to see some Hillcrest High School gear the next time I visit. I would have bought the shorts for my girls for sure. Go Hornets!

I'm so thankful for this new dedicated space for Cinderella's Closet! I used my gift (after winning T.O.Y.) from @MissouriState to purchase the racks & curtain for the dressing area. The donations continue to come in as our community supports @LearnOnTheHill girls 💙🧡💙

I HIGHLY suggest assigning paper for "at-home" work & having them submit a video of them showing their work. These videos make grading feel relational. While some r 5 sec, others r several minutes of them sharing about their day. I get to connect with my babies even at home!
