Happy World Autism Day! Proud to have taught and coached so many incredible individuals on the spectrum. Let’s celebrate diversity, promote equity, and embrace inclusion by presuming competence, advocating for their rights, and fostering understanding, compassion, and acceptance.
A great day spent working with @MentorPolice to create a mock art heist. Ss used problem solving, observational skills, attention to detail and team work to solve the crime!! So engaging and fun! #onceacard
Such a positive exchange of ideas between creative minds at OAEA! Always come home with excitement for new possibilities in my classroom!! Glad to have experienced this & presented with @ArtWithMrsSmith! Was also happy to see @RVictorART and @DFioreArt there as well! #onceacard
What a great experience we’ve had the past couple of days at OAEA convention! I’m so appreciative of the opportunity to attend, the insight from workshops that we can bring back to school, and for @MrsAmbrus for leading the way in our presentation!

You never cease to amaze me @jordynbzim YOU make the world a better place!
At 18, @jordynbzim’s world opened up when she got hold of a communication app on an iPad for the first time. She is a nonspeaking autistic woman, and hadn’t been able to use her voice to the fullest until then.
Now, she is a fierce advocate for others with disabilities.
