Apparently, the government set up 530A accounts for everyone under 18, and you no longer have to fill out form 4547. But to claim them, you have to use the app, which has not been updated to skip this form, so you still have to fill out the form.
This is a frustrating process.

I officially closed on my house today and the previous owners left their vehicles in my driveway. Multiple vehicles taking up the ENTIRE driveway too and I can’t even park. They told their agent they don’t have an estimated day/time to when the cars will be picked up. They never even asked permission for this. Y’all, this is crazy. I can’t make this up. What do I do? Any heat pump experts here? Building a house. Installer #1 couldn't finish. Installer #2 charged it, it threw an error code, and they left. Installer #3 charged it, same error code, and now they feel it's a manufacturer error. @MitsubishiHVAC will cover damaged parts not labor.
