Would you say for automating process, Grok bot is superior?

Running multiple agents here on different parts of the business. One useful process of mine come from two Grok bots that work together in pulling leads and updating them to my spreadsheets. One builds and enriches Using Apollo + Quickenrich (for mobiles) scout → approve → unlock phones → hard dedupe The other updates to a master. Following structure, dedupes (very important) All my spend must be approved by me first. I still don't allow these guys to spend on their own. And tell it to only hunt in small batches. Could I let it loose and grab more? Yes but errors start occuring more often when pulling from a massive list. Rather have accuracy and quantitiy here But overall this process alone has saved my so much time and hours back that I can focus my day calling and fullfilling for my clients We are truly in the best time for those with agency + clear thinking

How sales got me here. Got my degree in marketing. Procurement analysis. Realized this was not for me. Did marketing and sales in construction. Freelanced as an SDR. W2 as an SDR. Sales agency.

Im not going to pretend i am an industry expert in cold calling but I do have more than 18 months of experience do this activity. I did it as a freelancer , about to work on 30 projects, have a 100% job success, top 3% of all freelancing accounts, 5 star rated, made more than $100k during that time and this literally nothing compared to what others have done. My partners have in combination more than a decade of expereince closing, cold calling, sales, business. Im here writing down my thoughts and perspective of what its like to start a business and partner up with competent men. One focus all in unison. These are the seeds of what can grow into something great.

I've learned a few things while the cold calling framework was being built. The one my partner put together The framework is a template. The mechanics are almost the same every time. What changes is who you are talking to, persona, tone. How the conversation actually goes. Nailing every single word does not carry as much weight as having a real conversation with the person You still need the pieces, the hook, the transition into the pitch. Everything in between. The right questions. And making it about them, not you. you can run the same framework over and over And providing this document tailored to each client is worth so much alone. Most of these companies have no script that has been able to produce meaningful results

One mistake of mine was when building lead lists, I was getting ahead of myself. I was grabbing API keys and thinking I could give a bot a simple prompt and it would go execute the way I wanted. It did not. The list would come back ambiguous. I thought I was asking for one thing. I was getting fed another. Either my writing was off or it did not understand what I wrote. It may have been both. One bad lead list sets me back DAYS. What I actually needed at a basic level was to keep it concise. Was to not outsource my thinking to the Ai. For example, it was looking at one role. One title. One ICP. Very specific. Then find those people and keep finding those people. I can expand later and get very deep with it when I have more understanding. I skipped the base. That could have easily been avoided if I just slowed down

I would not be able to have made it this far in my agency without partnering up with people who have far deeper knowledge and the reps in areas I dont. I have the ambition to start a company by myself but its far greater having an elite group of men working towards the same common goal.

The more I repeat, the faster I learn The stronger my foundation, the stronger the multiplier of output Therefore every morning I do the following - read the script - go over flowchart - review objections - play the scenarios - and read it all out loud

Building Lead Lists: I have found very few business owners who have I spoke with that actually know how to build lead lists, and for the ones who do make an attempt, at least for more start ups, it was evident to see they were not even thinking about building a list properly. I have made the same mistake, so if you are an SDR, this is something I would consider thinking about. The majority of bad lead lists usually come from not understanding the offer properly and not targeting the right people. So how do you target the right people? Good question It starts by the offer. Who would benefit the most from your companies product/service? This is where is its important to have your ICP dialed. Bad lead list: lawyers with less than 50 employees Good lead list: Attorneys who focus on Personal Injury, between 1-10 employees, only in the state of Texas, who are doing more than 20 cases a month Why does this work? - because have a very specific persona that allows you gather proper research and feedback. Necessary in order to make proper adjustments. This is why its important to know the offer well and the persona. If you start building leads around the wrong title, the wrong size company, etc. You are wasting your time making any calls and decisions. You may get lucky, and still book a meeting. Learning this concept is more important than how to use the tools. And I made the mistake of doing the former without the latter. Save yourself the headache.

W2 as an SDR was composed of: * team of 8 * Daily reports * 1 on 1s * daily stand ups * weekly updates from leadership and sales department * Quota reviewed by team on a daily/weekly/monthly basis * single line dialing * constant crm hygiene and updates And what do you think you need to be doing when you have an agency with clients and employees? Be astute to your situation, learn the strucutre of things that are going well, dont miss the opportunity to learn a lesson if you plan or if you are building right now.

No difference in working demo's as an agency vs demo's as a freelancer. But how I treat them now, huge difference. Structure, workflow, expectations, drastically improved. A good intake will give you a good understanding if they are disqualified right away or not Not all dollars are worth the headaches

You know what drastically improved getting more clients as a freelancer was the level of speed I executed. Responding to messages, setting up documents ahead of time to send the moment they are asked, having the right tools close to me, anticipating questions. All were points I thought about ahead of time and just made me look so good. I guess anticipate as much as possible really

And whoever has the stronger distribution channel wins Want the competitive advantage? Here is the rubric on how to structure your outbound motion: - Who do you sell too? (1 sentence) - industry or niche? - specific title / role (pick 1 target) - revenue range (keep it < $1M, $1-5M, $5-10M, $11-$20M, etc) - employee range (<10, 11-20, 20-50, 50-100, 100-1000, 1000+, etc) - ACV (or average closed deal size) - Sales cycle length today - best use case for this persona / title and why it matters specifically to them (Should be a few sentences) There is nuance to each business and offer but this is a start on how a founder with little to no experience selling, should be thinking about their product Answering this will lead to a better understanding on who to target and why for anyone just starting to build
Everyone. is. building. the. same. thing.

One key core development in my work ethic was holding the company phone 7 days a week when I was working in Construction This company sold emergency restoration services so getting random calls that could be a $20k project was real and expected. So missing one phone call was CRITICAL to revenue Imagine the conversation you had to have with your boss the next day, explaining why you missed the $30k project because you left your phone in the car for 5 minutes. This level of pressure built a physical reflex in me. It wasn't there before, but afterwards I became a machine. That hasnt stopped This skill directly benefited my sales career When I was freelancing as an SDR i know for a fact that I was the first person to apply, first person to respond, and left a great first impression in my conviction and transparency. 30 jobs completed after a year on the platform. Over $100k earned. 100 Job Success. Top rated account Yeah many reasons why but this was certainly one
