I made a Mac app for fx, the coding agent from Vercel.
fx-ui runs libfx inside the app and draws every pixel on the GPU through GPUIX. Bring a Grok or Codex subscription, or a Vercel AI Gateway key.

Build your own personal AI agent — without a giant framework
nanobot is an ultra-lightweight, self-hosted personal AI agent framework in Python for builders who want to run and customize their own agent.
It helps you get from a local setup to a tool-using agent by combining a browser WebUI, terminal client, chat apps, tools, memory, MCP integrations, and scheduled automation in one readable core.
Key features:
• Flexible interfaces – run it in a WebUI, terminal, or supported chat apps
• Built-in agent tools – use files, shell, web search, web fetch, MCP, cron, image generation, and subagents
• Persistent context – keep session history and long-term memory through Dream
• Model choice – connect OpenAI-compatible APIs, local LLMs, image generation, search, and fallback models
• Deployment paths – run a local or server-side gateway, with Docker and Linux service guidance
It’s open-source (MIT license).

Holy sh*t, this is f**king insane 🤯
Completely FREE GitHub repo with 95K stars just dropped an open-source Claude Design alternative
i cancelled the “pay for a design tool” mindset for this
what you get for $0:
> local-first desktop app
> prototypes, landing pages, dashboards, slides
> HTML, PDF, PPTX, MP4 export
> Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, DeepSeek Harness, OpenCode and 20+ CLIs
> Apache 2.0
what this replaces :
Claude Design style workflows and paid design SaaS for quick product UI
here is how you set it up :
1. open github.com/nexu-io/open-desi…
2. hit Releases and download the Mac or Windows build
3. install and launch the desktop app
4. connect a local agent CLI or BYOK runtime in settings
Important: the app is FREE and open source. model usage still needs your keys or their cloud credits.
save this before you pay another month for a design seat

10 GitHub repositories that are quietly changing what AI can actually do.
Not another list of chatbots.
These are the tools underneath the workflows.
1. HyperFrames
Give an AI agent a simple prompt and it can build an editable video using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The interesting part: the same project can be previewed, edited and rendered into a real video.
github.com/heygen-com/hyperf…
2. Orca
Running one coding agent is useful.
Running an entire fleet of them in parallel is a completely different workflow.
Orca gives you a development environment for managing multiple AI coding agents at the same time.
github.com/stablyai/orca
3. Nodeterm
Ever had 10 terminal windows open because you're running multiple AI agents?
Nodeterm turns those sessions into a visual canvas where you can see and manage parallel agent sessions.
github.com/eneskirca/nodeter…
4. Atlas
When multiple coding agents modify the same project, keeping track of everything gets messy fast.
Atlas is built around tracking and querying the changes made by those agents.
github.com/pacifio/atlas
5. Ruflo
A multi-agent orchestration system with memory and RAG built into the workflow.
It can coordinate different agent backends instead of forcing you into a single AI model or provider.
github.com/ruvnet/ruflo
6. Magnitude
What if your AI agent could automatically choose the right local model for the hardware available?
Magnitude is an open-source inference server built around exactly that kind of routing.
github.com/magnitudedev/magn…
7. ByteBot
An AI agent that can actually interact with a computer instead of just returning text.
It provides a virtual desktop environment where agents can interact with applications and perform real computer tasks.
github.com/bytebot-ai/bytebo…
8. NanoBrowser
A lightweight browser automation framework designed specifically for AI agents.
It gives agents a way to navigate websites, interact with pages and perform browser-based tasks programmatically.
github.com/nanobrowser/nanob…
9. UI-TARS Desktop
An open-source computer-use agent that lets AI interact with graphical interfaces.
Instead of only reading APIs, the agent can understand screens and operate applications like a human would.
github.com/bytedance/UI-TARS…
10. TeamAI CLI
A command-line framework for making your development team AI-native.
It focuses on coordinating AI agents around actual team workflows rather than treating AI as just another chatbot.
github.com/Tencent/teamai-cl…
The interesting part isn't that these repos use AI.
It's that they're giving AI new ways to interact with the world.
Code.
Browsers.
Computers.
Terminals.
Videos.
Entire teams.
This is the stuff I'd keep an eye on.
Bookmark it for the weekend.

🚨 THIS IS SO WILD
YOU CAN BUILD AI AGENTS WITHOUT WRITING ALL THE CODE.
Flowise lets you build AI agents visually — by connecting nodes instead of stitching everything together from scratch.
Think of it like a visual builder for AI workflows.
→ Build AI agents visually
→ Connect models, tools, memory, and integrations
→ Create RAG and LLM workflows
→ Use a visual interface instead of wiring everything manually
→ Run it self-hosted on your own infrastructure
→ Deploy with Docker or directly with Node.js
→ Built as a monorepo with a React UI + Node backend
The interesting part?
You can go from:
“I have an idea for an AI agent”
to a visual workflow you can actually inspect and modify.
And Flowise has been widely used enough to become a recognizable name in the open-source AI builder space.
BUT — one important detail:
The GitHub repository is now archived, so this original Flowise repo is no longer the active development path.
Still, the concept is worth knowing:
AI development is moving from writing every connection by hand → visually composing intelligent workflows. 🔥

xitter.cf/Mahaximus_/status/2098…

Someone put Codex inside Grok Bot.
It's called Grokrouter.
Instead of being locked into stock Grok, it lets an individual bot use the codex sdk or openrouter as its AI brain.
You keep using the normal mac desktop app, but it safely intercepts commands before inference to run your preferred model.
It respects Grok's outer tool-execution boundaries, keeps your local computer permissions intact, and features a restore button that puts the verified original inference path back.
local keys. keep the stock UI. completely reversible.
100% open-source.
