Replying to @jcurleyshow
@jcurleyshow , thank you for having me on your show today to discuss the most recent editorial board piece the @seattletimes put out against I-638. To those writers at the Seattle Times—let me start by saying this: I wholeheartedly stand by, now more than ever, what I said about you before when you decided to pull the @Matt_Calkins article. You ARE a woke rag who silences the voices of anyone who has a differing opinion from yours. I would also like to add that the only group doing the “fear-mongering” is you. You tell people and athletes that in order to play a sport, they have to have invasive genital exams. WRONG! I have been playing sports all my life, and never once have I had to expose myself to anyone just to prove I am a girl. You tell the voters of Washington that it is only 10–12 athletes out of many and that they affect little to no athletes. WRONG AGAIN! 1 athlete is 1 too many. That one athlete can have an effect on a whole team, a whole locker room, a whole roster spot, and a girl who has worked countless hours just to get to the point where she is now. You tell people that in order to have a safe and inclusive space for everyone, they should allow men to compete in their sports and be able to walk into their locker rooms whenever they please. What a load of BS. Have you been in a locker room when this has happened to you? Because I HAVE! To think that a paper as large as yours is too afraid to let a column run about a 17-year-old girl’s experience of having an 18-year-old man play against her girls’ basketball team and go into her locker room when she was 15 is cowardice. I will say it again—you are cowards. Here is the reality of what is happening: “transgender women” are men, and they always will be. Let’s stop calling them women when we all know darn well that they are not. This is a LIE that I refuse to accept. Seattle Times Ed Board: Kate Riley, Ryan Blethen, Melissa Davis, Josh Farley, Alex Fryer, Claudia Rowe, Carlton Winfrey, Frank A. Blethen (emeritus), and William K. Blethen (emeritus): It is a shame that you are so deeply brainwashed that you are willing to publicly spread lies about Initiative 638. It is even more of a shame to think that I, a 17-year-old girl, have more common sense to be able to stand up for what is right. I urge anyone who disagrees with me to meet with me face-to-face and have this discussion civilly. No need for hate or threats like I’ve been subjected to. I will make time: any place, anywhere, any time. As the Times and others would like to spin it—this is NOT about hate. It never has been—it’s about protecting GIRLS. The last thing I want to add is that the only thing we should say NO to is the news organizations like yours that choose to spread lies like this and have the audacity to make it look like you are trying to do the right thing. The people see through this. I am calling on the people of Washington State to choose common sense and choose to do what’s RIGHT! Vote YES on 638 to protect the real women and girls who just want a safe and fair space to compete! And for anyone hiding behind a screen saying this is AI or accusing me of not writing my own posts—this is all me. I also invite you to be brave like I have been and expose yourselves rather than hide and call a 17-year-old girl disgusting names. Takes a real tough guy to do that… about as tough as the Times for being too scared to listen to a 17-year-old’s side of the story. —Frances Staudt @Riley_Gaines_ @JenniferSey @sagesteele @megynkelly @Michele_Tafoya @Outkick @DailySignal @FoxNews @BrandiKruse @seattletimes @letsgowa @IWF @xx_xyathletics @bac37 @jk_rowling @libsoftiktok @Moms4Liberty @choeshow @jcurleyshow @stevemgordon67 @bkheywood

I can't wait until we look back as a society and all recognize how absolutely insane and terrifying it is that an entire political party just admitted to caring more about illegal immigrants than American citizens

Keon Coleman is 22 years old. He is a young man, just starting life. And today the owner of the football team he plays for spoke his name like he was a failure and an embarrassment. We learned a lot more about Terry Pegula today than we ever wanted to know.

I wish women like this channeled all of their anger and contempt towards fighting for women's rights rather than at the women fighting for them.
Maybe if you channeled all this anger into swimming faster you wouldn’t have come in fifth.

Goosebumps! Men form a protective circle around 16-year-old Frances Staudt so she can safely speak about having to compete against boys. Activists try to drown out her words with sirens. But she won’t be silenced! Tumwater, WA. @letsgowa @Riley_Gaines_

OAN received an official statement on behalf of @mykaylaskinner: "As an athlete who has dedicated years to a sport, I’ve always believed that true competition should elevate us—not diminish others. That’s why it’s deeply troubling to see @Simone_Biles publicly label a fellow female athlete a ‘sore loser’—simply for expressing valid concerns about fairness in women’s sports. I commend and appreciate @Riley_Gaines_ for having the courage to speak up. Women like her are not only standing for fairness, but for the future of female athletics itself. She deserves support—not ridicule. Throughout my own career, I endured being belittled, dismissed, and ostracized behind the scenes by Simone. The pressure to stay silent was immense. I kept quiet out of respect—for the sport, for my teammates, and for the ideal of unity among athletes. But witnessing this kind of public shaming, especially from someone in a position of influence, makes that silence no longer acceptable. It’s one thing to disagree. It’s another to use your platform to bully and demean. No one should be punished for standing up for fairness and biological reality. We should be lifting each other up—not tearing one another down for speaking hard truths." -MyKayla Skinner Olympic Medalist

I am disappointed that CIF is allowing a biological male to compete against our girls at the State Track and Field Championships, right here in Clovis. This isn’t just unfair. It’s dangerous, it’s disgraceful, and it’s a direct attack on the integrity of girls’ sports. Today, I issued the following statement:
