Delighted to be able to share the story of @PlymouthCollege @PlymColSport international success with @Telegraph this week. So many talented young people, not least the 15 current or former @OPMClub pupils competing at #Paris2024

In a week where we have choices to make about the future of our country, we must take time to reflect on those who gave use that right to choose. 108 years ago today - 07:30 on July 1st 1916 - the Battle of the Somme began. ‘There, but by the grace of God, go I.’ #LestWeForget
Wonderful to be able to support the @PlymouthCollege Summer Art Show this evening. A brilliant display of talent on show spanning all year groups. Well done everyone to all involved.
Great to be able to contribute to @HMC_Org blog this week on behalf of @PlymouthCollege @PlymColSport. At a time when the sector faces unprecedented challenges, not least VAT on fees, it is good to reflect on the contribution it also makes to elite sporting success.

As the sun sets on @PlymouthCollege #BattlefieldsTrip2024 it’s a poignant moment to reflect on the futility of war and what lessons we can learn. #LestWeForget
In the words of the Kohima Epitaph:
‘When you go home, tell them of us and say; for your tomorrow, we gave our today’
The final visit on @PlymouthCollege #BattlefieldTrip2024 was to Tyne Cot, the largest @CWGC Cemetery in the world, where nearly 12,000 soldiers - including @OPMClub alumni - are commemorated. A demonstration of the scale of the suffering on the Western Front. #LestWeForget
After visiting Langemark, @PlymouthCollege #BattlefieldsTrip2024 headed to Vancouver Crossroads to commemorate the site of the first use of deadly poison gas in warfare. A moving tribute to the men who stood so bravely in the face of such barbaric weapons. #LestWeForget
The final day of @PlymouthCollege #BattlefieldsTrip2024 began with a visit to Langemark to see how German soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice are remembered. An important visit to help us appreciate the suffering that took place on both sides of the conflict. #LestWeForget
