Sometimes simple ideas lead to the best learning. When creating fridge magnets, students had to figure out how to create multiple layers, negative space, how to place hidden magnets, and how to get that perfect fit! @tinkercad #makerspace #STEMeducation

G1 students got to see how the laser cutter works. Students drew animals from the habitats they were building, assisting with sizing as we converted them for cutting. #makerspace #STEMeducation

G4 student took their initial idea and ran with it - rapid prototyping had her with a laser cut product in hand in 30 minutes - quickly discovered its fragility and set about a redesign and a shift to 3D printing. @tinkercad #ultimaker #makerspace #STEMeducation #designthinking
