On the issue of pastors, I urge caution. Almighty God chose for His son, Jesus Christ, to be born in a manger in a stable in Bethlehem. Not in a palace in Jerusalem. So, let us not despise messengers who seem small. However, Christ also guided us in Matthew 7:16 that...'Ye shall know them by their fruits'.

In Uganda, there is freedom of religion. As long as you are worshipping the Creator, Almighty God. The only religion that is COMPLETELY banned in Uganda is Satanism. The worship of the devil. For that you will surely go to jail for a long time.

It was an honour to lead a delegation of the Kampala Business Community: young entrepreneurs and outstanding business leaders across multiple industries.
People who have invested a great stake in our dear nation, and that is what makes every one of them patriotic.
Following in the footsteps of our business leaders and senior citizens, H.E. Chairman Godfrey Kirumira @GKKirumira and Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, we came together and endorsed our dear leader @mkainerugaba for the presidency in 2031.
As the business community, we appreciated Gen. MKM for the work he has done for our country:
✅ A strong anchor in the fight against corruption
✅ Pushing to fix the infrastructure, including the roads that connect our businesses to markets
✅ Standing with Ugandans in the diaspora, supporting those who had to leave South Africa after xenophobic attacks
✅ Helping resolve the Rwanda border issue, restoring trade and movement
✅ A transparent leader who keeps Ugandans informed on the day to day affairs
We were warmly welcomed by the PLU National Vice Chairman, Mr. Michael Nuwagira @chairtoyota, together with the Secretary General Hon. Fadil Twalla and the Director of Mobilisation Hon. Basaliza.
We discussed a partnership between the Patriotic League of Uganda and the business community, working hand in hand to promote our dear nation, keep improving our business environment, and fight corruption together.
We appreciated the NRM Government and our great leader H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni @KagutaMuseveni for growing Uganda's business environment drastically over the years. It is this work we intend to protect and continue to grow, hand in hand, carrying forward the legacy of our great fathers who struggled to bring this nation to where it is today.
It was an honour indeed. 🇺🇬

Thank you afande @mkainerugaba for pointing out the need to modernise and expand our agriculture. Truly, and as our President has severally stated , agriculture alone if intentionally prioritized, can create 50m jobs across the various enterprise value chains. Fortunately, we still have some sizeable amount of arable land unutilised & the global demand of food and beverage products isnt reducing but rising. With more arable land still available for opening and planting, it means horizontal expansion of our production is very possible. The only urgent investment required now is scaling up irrigation to support all weather production and also increase productivity. PLU has gotten it right from the start!

PLU has 4 core principles. They are:
(a) Upholding Yoweri Museveni Thought;
(b) Modernization of Agriculture;
(c) Modernization of Industry; and
(d) Modernization of the UPDF.
