The Speaker has refused our request for a debate on the fuel price crisis that is burdening citizens. She even refused to refer our request to the relevant Portfolio Committees.
It can’t be that South Africans will be burdened by high fuel costs that lead to increases in food, transportation etc yet there are mechanisms in place to shield citizens.

TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF EXPLOSIVES IN RANDFONTEIN
Two foreign nationals, a Mozambican man and a Zimbabwean woman, have been arrested for the unlawful possession of explosives following an intelligence-driven operation in Randfontein on Thursday, 15 October 2026.
The multidisciplinary operation, involving SAPS Crime Intelligence, the National Intervention Unit, Fidelity Specialised Services and other role players, resulted in the recovery of detonating cords, blasting cartridges, connector-capped fuses, mercury liquid, four cellphones and cash. The recovered explosives are estimated to have a street value of approximately R70 000.
The suspects will appear in court soon.

Porous borders, illegal immigration and weak immigration enforcement pose serious challenges to South Africa's national security.
