John Scofield, Ornette Coleman, John Surman in the Whitla Hall or at the Guinness Spot. These days are gone so thanks to @MovingOnMusic and @ScottsJazzClub for keeping the faith and promoting live music. 'You don't know what you have 'till its gone'

very eloquently put, as we have come to expect from Colin. I am of the lucky generation who were interested in jazz when the QUB/Belfast Festival was well funded, and I was able to see, among others, Gary Burton, David Murray, Andrew Hill, John McLaughlin, Dave Holland

Described as "The greatest trio on Earth" by The New York Times, The Necks have been a firm favourite for many, for decades. Recently however, they have found brand new ears, with their music often being heard opening club nights and featuring in choice mixes. Not to be missed!

Another meticulously curated @MovingOnMusic joint, Julian Lage will be making a rare Belfast appearance on solo guitar. From sharing a stage with Santana when he was 8 to his output on the legendary Blue Note, Julian has eschewed compromise to produce spellbinding music.
