The amount of logistical engineering it would take for my wife and me to see a three-hour documentary together in a movie theater would put the board game Mouse Trap to shame.

Even Cameron Crowe couldn’t get Led Zeppelin to approve “Stairway to Heaven” for Almost Famous. Greta Gerwig landing it for Narnia is historic. Netflix must've paid enough to buy actual Narnia.
A Universe Begins. See how Narnia was created in Narnia: The Magician's Nephew, a film by Greta Gerwig - only in theaters February 12.

RIP Dennis Haskins. I used to see him constantly at Dimples in Burbank. Once a drunk guy called his mom because she didn’t believe he was next to Mr. Belding. He handed Dennis the phone: “HEY HEY HEY, WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?” Everyone DIED.
BREAKING: RIP: Chattanooga native and actor Dennis Haskins, best known as Principal Richard Belding on “Saved by the Bell,” has died at age 75, according to his friend and caretaker. A cause of death has not been confirmed: newschannel9.com/news/local/…

My 11-year-old and I just walked past a secret AMC screening where two tables were covered in phones in Ziploc bags. I said, “Wow, they had to leave their phones.” The woman working it looked at us and said, in the most ominous tone imaginable: “No. We took their phones.”

I just saw OBSESSION. The scariest thing was how $1b in coins would weigh between 50m and 550m lbs, instantly collapsing the roof, crushing the house, and possibly obliterating several city blocks.

The End of Oak Street is basically a killer Twilight Zone episode crossed with the Jurassic World promise of dinosaurs loose on the mainland. 99 minutes of chaos and gleefully nasty hard-PG-13 violence. I was all in.

Cooper Hoffman’s Criterion Closet visit is an instant Hall of Famer just for him picking Happiness and talking about seeing his dad jerk off in it.

RIP, Chuck Russell! Director of my favorite horror movie!
Filmmaker Chuck Russell has passed away at 74. Chuck Russell directed The Blob & Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Warriors in the 1980s, and later directed The Mask, Eraser, Bless the Child, The Scorpion King, and Witchboard (2025). A horror legacy that will never be forgotten.
