Movement Labs Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy With Liabilities Above $1 Million
Movement Labs, the developer of the Movement blockchain, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Court filings show the company has between $100,000 and $500,000 in assets, more than $1 million in liabilities and fewer than 1,000 creditors. Its largest creditors include co-founder Rushi Manche, the Delaware Division of Revenue and Anchorage Digital. The filing follows controversy over MOVE token market-making, an internal investigation and Binance’s ban of the related market-making account. Movement Labs parted ways with Manche in May 2025.

We confirm that Rushi Manche has been suspended from Movement Labs. This decision was made in light of ongoing events and as the third-party review is still being conducted by Groom Lake regarding organizational governance and recent incidents involving a market maker.
you dont shame paper hands, you create diamond hands
the truth is nobody is a paper hand or diamond hand for all projects, people are simply going to sell things they dont have that much conviction in or if they need the money. and tbh thats okay
your job is to make people see the vision. turn them into diamond hands FOR YOU
and if you reward people and they sell, its two things: either theyre believers who needed the money or people who didnt believe
either way, its about being happy for the former bc you had a positive impact on their lives and then its your job as a builder to look for where it went wrong with the latter group and how you can get these people to start believing

unless you are a mind reader, you cant know 100% whos gonna paperhand or not, you can at best, only assume. who will sell will sell, who will hold will hold. trying to create a distinction will only create even more sellers and forced holders
all in all, just do your thing, and try to be as transparent and honest as you can be with everything
the community pre and post movedrop are going to be different so rather than all these gymnastics better to just cut right through it and be excited for the phase thats next
