So… this is clearly human trafficking disguised as being tough on immigration.
A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him.
Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties. In reality, one young man suffered a haemorrhage, while another experienced numbness in part of his face. The blows can damage nerves and fracture the jaw and cheekbones.
Repeated injuries can lead to fibrosis, which may require surgery to correct.

Before the siege on Gaza, he supported his family through work at a butcher shop, but he has been unemployed since losing that job. Their home in Rafah was destroyed, forcing the family to flee and resettle in Khan Younis, where they now live in a small tent that offers little protection from the cold, allows insects to enter, and contributes to recurring illnesses among the children. With no steady income, they struggle daily to afford sufficient food, clean water, or basic necessities, leaving the young children frequently hungry and unwell. Donations to support Waseem’s family would help provide essential supplies to address these immediate needs and offer a measure of stability amid their difficult circumstances.
