Rangoli doesn’t get a single moment of freedom. Will you help her? For her entire 51-year life, Rangoli has suffered for the entertainment of tourists. She was born at UNESCO World Heritage site, Amer Fort, into a life of pain, captivity, and cruelty. Rangoli is forced to carry tourists on her back walking up and down the hard cobblestone roads to the top of the hill during the day – often in extreme heat. Only to then spend her nights standing in her own faeces, while chained when she ‘rests’. Rangoli deserves better. By donating today, you can help end elephant rides at Amer Fort so we can begin the process of safely retiring her and all 82 elephants who are suffering. A tiger's skin belongs to no marketplace. Killed for their skins and other body parts, tigers continue to be victims of illegal wildlife trade despite the protection they receive under law. Let tigers live wild, not be reduced to trophies. 📍Sign Up: worldanimalprotection.org.in…

Across the steep trails of Kedarnath and Yamunotri, horses and mules are pushed into exhausting journeys, with many collapsing and dying along the way. It is time to end animal exploitation in pilgrimage tourism. #WorldAnimalProtection #AnimalWelfare

The exotic bird trade turns extraordinary wildlife into commodities, often separating birds from their natural habitats and reducing their lives to confinement. Let their wings belong to the wild. #EndWildlifeTrade #StopBirdTrade #ExoticPetTrade #WorldAnimalProtection

🦇 DID YOU KNOW? The claim that one bat eats 1,000 mosquitoes an hour is a myth! Bats help control insect pests, while fruit bats like the Indian Flying Fox pollinate plants and disperse seeds. Yet myths fuel fear and cruelty. Bats need protection, not persecution. 🤎

Behind every elephant ride is an animal paying the price. Long hours, confinement, chains, and a life dictated by tourism demand are realities many elephants face at ride attractions. These intelligent, social animals deserve freedom—not exploitation.

Rabies is one of the world’s deadliest zoonotic diseases, yet it is preventable. Vaccinating dogs regularly is among the most effective ways to interrupt transmission and protect both animals and people. 📍Follow Us: linktr.ee/worldanimalprotect…

This #WorldTourismDay, choose experiences that don’t harm animals. Elephant rides may seem harmless, but they often hide a lifetime of suffering. Support ethical tourism — where animals roam free and wild. Together, we can make travel kinder for all living beings. 🌍🐘

The industrialisation of pig farming has transformed animals into units of production, with their growth, movement and living conditions governed by the demands of efficiency. These images offer a glimpse into that reality. 📍Stop animal farming: worldanimalprotection.org.in…

They ask for very little: a safe corner, a little food, gentle hands and freedom from harm. Yet for many dogs without homes, even these simple things remain uncertain. We cannot give every animal a home, but we can make the world around them kinder.
