In our effort to protect the legitimacy of the MoveDrop and the Movement, we implemented multiple layers of criteria and filters to remove wallets suspected of being sybils or associated with bad actors.
Due to the extensive filtering process, we learned that eligible community members who should have received the MoveDrop were unfortunately excluded, impacting innocent members of our community.
We are truly sorry for all innocent people who were affected, but rest assured if you are a Movement Community member who rightfully deserves their drop, you will receive it.
Our team has identified the issues and is actively working on the fix. Updated claims processes will go live as soon as possible for the impacted community members.

Who is behind Move Industries?
Early employees from Movement Labs, including the two founding leaders of Move Industries.

Why form a new company? In light of recent news, we needed a clean break. Movement started with the community and our builders.
We're returning to our roots.
How will Move Industries be better? First, better governance.

Second: evolved leadership philosophy. The focus will be dual, the north stars being both technology and community. A focus built not only on hype, but action.

I can only make one promise: I will do everything I can for the builders, the community, and for my team. The Movement ecosystem deserves better and this is a step in the right direction. Up until now, we have done a great job in gathering talented builders, building a vibrant, global community and assembling a world class team.
However, we have fallen short in: appreciating our community, focusing on the tech/blockchain itself, and over all just fulfilling our commitments.
I’ve said this before and I will say it again, the chain is not the main character and should never be the main character. The main character should always be the dApps, the builders, and the community.
Unfortunately there were strings of short term decisions that dominoed into the situation we see today. That stops now.
Thank you @coopsmoves for your trust. I'm honored to pick up the torch as CEO of Move Industries. Your integrity and vision have guided the ecosystem from day one, and it’s really unfortunate to see the unfounded attacks against you.
With @livingwithwill as President/CMO and Young Yang Liauw as CTO (he’s a beast) we have the building blocks of the team to lead us to the next chapter.
We're not changing what makes Movement special – we're doubling down on it. This is a new chapter, but our mission continues. Together, we'll build the future of the Movement ecosystem with clear purpose and renewed energy.

Today, I give my blessing to @torabyou as they establish Move Industries with Torab as the CEO and with @livingwithwill as President and Torab’s right hand. This journey has been incredible, and I'm proud of what we've built together.
While I've always operated with the highest integrity, there have been allegations and attempts to spread false narratives against me and the Movement. I won't engage with these narratives or allow them to encumber us by the ill-intentioned individuals coming after me to hurt the company at the same time. The third-party review will address all these matters in time.
I understand my responsibility as CoFounder and CEO are to protect the company. Despite my best efforts, events occurred that tarnished the Movement brand. We need to restructure and rebuild a new company based on what made us great in the first place.
@torabyou and @livingwithwill are founding team members who have always prioritized what's best for Movement. I trust them implicitly. The Movement will no longer be constricted, and will be free to walk the path our hearts guided us to.
There is no better duo that can unite our ecosystem and community and rally them through this tough time. I remain steadfast in my commitment to see Movement build a foundation and recover. The Movement remains my life, and I remain a servant to its people.
I'm incredibly proud of what we've built together and remain fully supportive of The Movement as it enters this next chapter with the introduction of Move Industries. Our community is strong, our vision is clear, and our future is bright. gmove.
