Move Developers DAO is leading the effort of helping Web2 devs make the jump to Web3! 🚀 A few pointers👇 1) Utilizing universities as a forefront for onboarding new developers requires setting up a culture among students. 👨‍🎓 2) It's a time-consuming process; onboarding Web2 devs is an industry-wide effort that demands unique initiatives, advanced tooling, and a substantial time commitment from several teams. 🕰️ 3) Community - Forming a close-knit community of builders supporting new devs at early stages goes a long way! ✅ #MoveIndia student program is an initiative designed to plug into the college ecosystem by forming IRL Web3 clubs, discussion groups, and online forums and set up a culture among students.
20M+ developers, ~20k web3 developers. 1000:1. We are early, but ready. Move on Aptos = the safest & quickest path from ideation to production. Easiest path for the next wave of developers to build the next-generation of applications.

AI agents are taking over Aptos 🏆
Content monetization for creators via AI agents is coming to @Aptos @kudomoney For example, B2B AI agents will be able to source media for marketing campaigns and pay for it on the fly with crypto natively using Creatow.

The growth of agents are making them a must-have for corporations or individuals
Agents will be able to trade content among themselves, acquire media, and monetize it. Using Creatow as a building block opens up myriad of applications. We’re bullish on the upcoming use cases!

Solidity ➡️ Move: Starter Guide for Developers Developer activity is steadily rising on Aptos. More Move modules being deployed every week, along with a growing number of inbound bridges from other ecosystems. Some builder FAQs: ❓What advantages does Move have over Rust/Solidity? ❓Where do I start and what kind of a learning curve should I expect? For developers with experience building on Ethereum, understanding the difference in data storage and ownership is key: 1️⃣ Account structures: Each Aptos account contains both smart contracts & resources (data structures), compared to the delineation between EoAs and contract accounts on Ethereum 2️⃣ Storage: Move programs read from and write to tree-shaped global storage — compared to Merkle-Patricia Trie on Ethereum 3️⃣ Token standards and balance storage: Every token is a typed 'Coin' or 'FungibleAsset' with a single contract — with balances stored as a resource in the user's account. This means: ✅ Low latency ✅ Predictable ✅ Secure ✅ Better parallel execution Read the full guide from @AptosLabs' #AptosLearn series: learn.aptoslabs.com/example/…

Move Developers Dao @MoveBuilders was my first go-to place then Aptos Learn. Both, and of course the legendary @Greg_Nazario have been instrumental to my learning Move. Hoping to contribute massively to the Aptos ecosystem in the coming months, years.

Type Inference with Generics: Move's type inference can often infer the generic type from the function arguments. Example: public fun print_pair<T>(a: T, b: T) { LibraAccount::print(a); LibraAccount::print(b); }
1
280
Generic Structs: Structs can also be parameterized with types, allowing for reusable data structures. Example: public struct Pair<T> { first: T, second: T, }
1
243
Generic Functions: You can define functions that take generic type parameters, enabling code reuse for different data types. Example: public fun max<T>(a: T, b: T): T { if (a >= b) { a } else { b } }

272
Using Type Parameters: Generic type parameters can be used in function signatures, return types, and within function bodies. Example: public fun pair(a: T, b: T): vector { vector::push_back(&mut vector::empty(), a); vector::push_back(&mut vector::empty(), b); }

“The Daily Move” chapter 15 🔥 Topic - “Generics in Move” Generics allow you to write functions and structs that work with different data types while maintaining type safety. Example: public fun identity<T>(x: T): T { x } #MakeYourMove 🌐
