Come September, every school should focus on ensuring (and measuring) student inclusion, belonging, participation & engagement and not zero in solely on “learning gaps.”

#NationalIndigenousPeoplesDay We analyzed the 94 Calls to Action today with a child-friendly version of the TRC to help children with various reading levels in my class understand the actions that must be taken. We are in the process of writing letters to email to our MP on Wed.
We are so proud of our first grade 8 grads: creative, funny and smart...we will never, ever forget you! Now go out there and have fun, learn lots, create, play, be kind and stand up for what is right. Thanks for all you have taught us—we will always be in your corner!
