I made a Spotify playlist of some of the music I've been listening to while making Inner Spaces, my most recent album. I guess some were an influence. Mostly though, it's just music I love.
There are a few Strands tunes thrown in too.
I hope you enjoy!
Big love to everybody who made it down to the show last night. And to @SlowMovinClouds for being the perfect musical partners. And big shout to Dec & Fiona @Select1veMemory for making the show happen in such a lovely venue. Hope to see you all soon again.

“Taking inspiration from William Onyeabor, Wendy Carlos, and Rival Consoles among others, Inner Spaces is an album full of automating, overlapping synth arpeggios.”
Escaping a locked-down in Dublin, Irish musician @strandsmusic (aka Stephen Shannon) dusts off his vintage synths and reimagines favourite outdoor trails and locations in county Wicklow, Ireland.

I had a great conversation with @niallcrumlish about musical influences, walking in Wicklow and making my Strands album, Inner Spaces, in lockdown.
