YouTuber @MouldS hypothesized that a circular loop of chain would exhibit circumferential waves as it rotated in the absence of external forces, flowing through its own shape. In gravity, this creates the chain fountain effect, popularized with his science videos. Aboard the ISS, I helped test his theory! These loops were made from beaded chain and our EVA French clips used to tie things down during spacewalks. I wore nitrile gloves to prevent the chain from sticking to my fingers. It took many tries to produce this! A full video of our findings is now posted to his channel, which I have linked in the comments.

I made a version of noughts and crosses (tic tac toe) that's embedded on a torus (the edges wrap around): stevemould.com/tic-tac-toe. I made it so that you can turn off the highlighting of the central 3x3. That way it's clearer that there's no central square in toroidal tic tac toe.

I’ve been frozen out of my @monzo account for 30 hours now. My first issue with Monzo but it’s a doozy. Our joint acct and both our personal accts are frozen. Scheduled payments being declined. Amazing how much you rely on your bank working. Going on holiday tomorrow. Stressful!

I use my phone to transcribe what I'm saying when I'm writing a new video script. It doesn't always get it right. I particularly like this one: "so long as we can write a complicated enough logic statement full of ants and oars and knots"
