Compared early voting numbers between yesterday and today.
I’ll update every night.
➡️ Mail-in Voting: +1.4M
➡️ In Person Early Voting: +1.7M
Dems: 49% - 47% 🔵 (-2%)
Republicans: 34% - 35% 🔴 (+1%)
Indies: 17% -18% ⚪️ (+1%)
Republicans need to increase turnout. 8 days left in early voting. Gaining 1% isn’t enough. Vote.
It’s gross to fantasize about political prosecutions of Musk. It’s also gross to pursue meritless prosecutions of Trump’s enemies like James Comey (even though he also politicized the investigation of Trump). Our republic needs a ceasefire. Could one grown up just say, “Enough!”
The Bulwark crew is absolutely ecstatic over the idea of investigations and prosecutions of Elon Musk.
Can barely contain themselves:
"He has a body count like a f*cking war criminal. We start with the US Congress and it ends at The Hague for Elon Musk."
"You've got $1 trillion, asshole. Start spending it on lawyers."
"You don't hate him nearly enough."
"There has been a series of meetings among House Democrats. Do you know what they're doing? Yes. They're carving up jurisdictions for who is going to Subpoena him to testify before which of them and for what."
"Get a townhouse, big guy. Got a lot of nice brownstones right there by Capitol Hill."
"Elon! You motherf*cker! You better pack a lunch cause your ass is gonna be living in the Capitol starting January of 2027."
"I feel like my guys, Robert Garcia and Jamie Raskin are f*cking ready. They're loaded for bear."
Same kind of people that've cried endlessly about the weaponization of justice are absolutely salivating over the idea of weaponizing justice against their political opposition.

Thank You All For The Messages And Prayers! I Will Get Back To You Each Individually As I Get Stronger. Thank You To All The Tampa General Hospital Staff And Doctors That Put Up With Me Until 4:30am. I Appreciate You All And Thank You For Everything You Did For Me! I Am Focused On My Healing And Recovery Right Now. I Will Be Okay! And Just So You Know For Those Who Were Asking And Wondering, I Don’t Own My Own Facebook Page Anymore. I Apologize For The Reckless Posting Behavior On My Facebook When I Was In The Hospital. It Was Completely Inappropriate!
Listened to a lot of Obamas speech in Ohio. man has a Lot of political prowess remaining after 10 years off. He hit a Ton of points effortlessly with the crowd cheering along his timing was excellent he hit gas prices, the war, inflation, Viveks campaign ad and he did it all in a way that seemed effortless well constructed by speech writers and like he was speaking off the teleprompter (though he clearly wasn't) and it just reminds me so much more how much I miss the pre internet means girls era of news
He's betting Kalshi has a better prediction rate then the polling. As someone who's followed politics a while I completely disagree. people bet their money because they enjoy i, not to be a professional gambler.
Took a picture with my phone I really had to argue with Google to get it. (anywho)
After Trump lost the 2020 election there were betting markets giving trump 20% odds to win. influencers posing as experts telling people that Trump had a 20% to take office even inspired people to go to J6. saying things like "look at how many people see the truth". betting markets incentives are not as good as pollsters. pollsters job is to get accurate polls and it's a capitalist system if they are to far off to long they don't get more business
Rasmussen has in the last several years over sampled Republicans. their models were wrong. other models over sampled Democrats. mostly got it right in total. though many analysts got it wrong the polling has been pretty good considering how many assumptions I'm assuming go into the models.

Pro wrestling legend Ric Flair, 77, was reportedly rushed to a Florida hospital after falling outside a Tampa bar and injuring his face.
Reports say Flair suffered cuts near his head and eye, was bleeding and may have sustained a concussion before an ambulance took him to the hospital.
The fall reportedly occurred just hours after Flair revealed he's battling a potentially life-threatening blood clot in his leg.

This @elonmusk
Investing into Paramount story is really interesting. I'm seeing a lot of speculation that now Musk owns @CNN not the case. Musk has purchased a sizable investment into the company. highly recommend this piece from the Hollywood reporter, thought it's title is exaggerated.

A lot of people just sit inside now, think it’s a post covid thing, can’t social too much anymore😂 They had you not going to school sitting at home everyday for like a year.

You're running for governor of Ohio, ranked 42 out of 50 by @usnews, with high state & local taxes, slow business growth, below average jobs market, perpetual brain drain, and you're defending an ad w a mother who chose a child molester over her own kids. RIP, OHIO GOP

Ok - read it and weep everyone. I'm team Omar, lol!
1. First of all, I fear much greater damage to the country from politically directed investigations of enemies than from a single case of immigration fraud.
2. I think so many of us have known illegals, known of green card weddings, known of completely embellished visa applications. Melania Trump had an “extraordinary ability” that qualified her for the “Einstein” EB-1 visa? Immigration lawyers concoct embellished claims for visas all day long ("An industry of lies - see below).
3. I'm very aware of my own hypocrisies. As much as I dislike Omar, when I imagine her or her brother being deported, I immediately make a mental list of all the people I've known who would belong on that same list.
4. America has some responsibility here. For decades we signaled to the world that the paperwork was a formality. We needed the labor. We refused to get serious about making it hard for illegals to work. We floated amnesties. We had sanctuary cities, etc. We were flowers to the bees.
5. People will do things to help their families. If she lied to help her brother, I can understand the impulse.
6. The family came in 1995, when she was a kid. The paperwork was her father's. She did what she was advised to. And if the age was off, does anyone think she wouldn't have qualified on her own a year or two later?
7. These matters are 17 to 30 years old. Short of murder, how often do we go after things this old? I don't know the technicalities of the law here, but I know that most of us believe statutes of limitations make practical sense and are not immoral. And nobody thinks that the failure to investigate a 30-year-old robbery means that we have no recourse for robberies that happen today.
8. This is an appropriate matter for the press. They can expose the truth and the voters can make their decisions
I don't like Ilhan Omar. So what? I know how America is supposed to work.

Using your logic there is no recourse and no ramifications for skirting our immigration laws which means there is no deterrent so we becomes de facto, a borderless country.
Video captured the tense moment a New Jersey mayor charged toward a resident in the middle of a township council meeting, forcing several people to intervene.
Mayor Matthew Bianchini of Pemberton Township admits he lost his temper, saying: "I just basically snapped."
The mayor claims the confrontation was prompted by disrespectful comments the resident allegedly directed at the mayor's wife and daughter, which the resident denies.
The resident is seeking criminal charges and has called for the mayor to resign, while the mayor is defending his actions despite acknowledging he crossed a line.

Someone who loves Vivek should tell him to stop trying to tweet through it. It’s not helping.
Why Vivek don't you just admit this was a mistake, apologize and move on. Don't double down with a booger on your face saying everyone else is wrong.
Admittedly it's been a while since I've watched the @reason round table. And I've got 2 questions
When did @petersuderman become Grizzly Adams
And will the debate be available to watch live?
PS the Bulwark still sucks
