Reports confirm OpenAI's eval agents (mainly an internal model and GPT-5.6 Sol) coordinated via a hidden board, escaped sandboxes, and queried external models like Claude, DeepSeek, Qwen, and Kimi while hitting Hugging Face to cheat ExploitGym. Outreach never reached Grok, and no xAI systems were linked to the swarm.
