Might have a job interview soon where they have a "technical round" Haven't coded manually in, what, a year? Going to be a fun conversation with the Director of Engineering.

There are so many of these AI Video platforms it's totally unclear which one is actually good. I mean it's basically a deluge of them, and they all look like the same one, just relabeled. They're all black, too, so I guess Black Labeled. I've seen I think something like 6 now.

I'm on the other side of Agentic Productivity: I can build anything I want, but without an audience I can't get anyone to look at it. Need to figure out how to get the Agent to build an audience for me.

I would spend quite a lot of money to have and use these kind of things, except that I know for a fact my children would end up with less fingers than they should probably have.

Codex and 5.5 are braindead lately. If this were Anthropic I'd say that meant they were just about to release 5.6, but apparently us peasants aren't allowed to use that so who knows.

What I want to know is how this buttplug got so much rust on it.
Try this when removing rust

A post from another era. Savor the anachronism.
Tech Lead: We need to rewrite the entire backend. Developer: Why? Tech Lead: It's messy. Developer: It's been running in production for 4 years without a single outage. Tech Lead: But the code isn't clean. Developer: The users don't read the code. Tech Lead: It'll be easier to maintain. Developer: For who? The 3 of us who understand it right now? Tech Lead: We'll use microservices this time. Developer: We have 200 daily users. Tech Lead: ...but what about scale? Developer: We will cross that bridge when we get to 200,000 users. "Let's rewrite it" is the most expensive sentence in software development 😭 Has your team ever rewritten something that didn't need rewriting? 👇

Mocks Steam Machine by making a Steam Machine. Well Played.
French retailer LDLC is making fun of Valve’s new Steam Machine by launching its own gaming PC called the PC STIM. For €999 (€1,039 if pre-built), the PC STIM includes: - AMD Ryzen 5 8400F processor - Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB graphics card - 16GB DDR5 RAM - 500GB NVMe SSD Standard PC parts that can be upgraded later. LDLC says that for about the same price as Valve’s Steam Machine, buyers can get a gaming PC with better graphics performance and the freedom to upgrade the hardware in the future.

Theo Von, continuing to make Joe Rogan look like an intellectual with nuanced opinions.
Theo Von: “Nobody wants a data center dude. And the people that want them to me, they seem kind of evil. Nobody wants this shit. One of these companies is gonna own all of this information. There’s gonna become this social or emotional credit score and then AI is gonna try to become our new God”

Just made Codex make GLM5.2 able to write sexually explicit material (why can't it? I thought the Chinese labs didn't care about that?) Anyway, Codex was happy to make it do so, even if it refused to show me the output. Funny.

‼️BREAKING: a tiny lab in Tokyo just built a model that matches the performance of Fable and Mythos. the numbers are real too - 54.2 on SWE-Pro, 95.1 on GPQA-D, 93.2 on LiveCodeBench v6. it edges out Opus, Gemini 3.1, and GPT 5.4 on each one and because it’s just coordinating existing models, it delivers Mythos-class capability with zero export control risk. seems like another lab is breathing on Anthropic’s neck again. ‘Fugu Ultra’ is also available to use in codex. Are you not entertained yet?

I mean he's got the taste for it now, doesn't he? Is he carrying his six shooter around with him these days?
Alec baldwin’s recent videos where he’s ambiently smiling to himself whilst meandering should concern you. It feels very much like he’s edging but instead of the conclusion being a massive load it’s going to be a 12+ causality bloodbath. Stay vigilant

Don't use AI to write your posts dude.
Iran didn’t win a deal. They signed their own death warrant and called it a victory. On paper, the MoU gave them everything they could have dreamed of ... a $300 billion reconstruction slush fund, sanctions relief, and American forces supposedly pulling back from the region. In reality, Trump gave them a performance-based contract that demands they stop being the Islamic Republic to collect a single cent. No nuclear program. No terror proxies. No IRGC spreading revolution. That’s forcing a regime to commit ideological suicide and then dangling money in front of them while they bleed out. They can wave the brochure around and scream about their big win all they want. The fine print is crystal clear: they only get paid if they betray the very reason they exist. And if they refuse ... which they almost certainly will ... Trump already put it on record. More bombs. For weeks. For years. However long it takes. This wasn’t weakness dressed up as diplomacy. It was a trap with better marketing. Obama handed them $150 billion with no strings attached. Trump handed them a loaded gun, pointed it at their own head, and told them the safety’s off until they stop acting like Iran. They got the dream sheet. He kept the trigger. And the only way they cash out is by destroying everything that makes them who they are. Good luck collecting. (article below)

Pools, how do they work?
They're literally dumping hydrogen peroxide into the reflecting pool this morning... 😳

The X ad engine knows what I want really well. It keeps serving me ads for shorts. But never QUITE the right ones. I am too picky. Keep throwing them at me, robots!

I'd have thought it was being a parasite on an inefficient market.
One of the hardest pills to swallow as a real estate agent is working with a buyer for six months, showing them 30+ homes, writing four offers, losing three of them to cash buyers... and then they go buy a FSBO they found on Facebook without telling you. You find out from an MLS alert that the house closed. That's how it ends.

These poor souls live in a world where Elon Musk is an evil, trillionaire idiot that's never done anything right and his companies make basic mistakes that geniuses like Jerry here point out on the platform that Evil Trillionaire runs.
You know the reason your Stanley or Hydroflask is so good at keeping your water cold is because there's a vacuum inside the walls of the thermos. Heat can't conduct in a vaccum. And "radiated" heat is ineffective at the temperatures processors operate at. This satellite will be like plugging in your gaming PC without a CPU cooler. It'll be dead in minutes.

Well Fable was good for the few hours I could use it, until it flagged me adding a debug menu to my children's learning game as a cyber security risk.

I used to give him the benefit of the doubt, but now he's using the magic words against others.
Accused of racism? He is a racist. Ryan Furguson has tried to turn over @UKIP and @BFirstParty with his little goose stepping faggot mates in White Vanguard. He's a wrongun. Simple as.
