There are some stats you see and just know it’s not possible in the EPL. It’s not even an exaggeration, you simply can’t put up those kinds of numbers in this league. Imagine 100 goals in 102games. It’s not possible. The level of defensive organisation, the physical demands, the intensity of the games and the quality of opponent make it extremely difficult to dominate consistently. You’re not just dealing with good defenders. you’re dealing with different defensive systems, aggressive pressing, compact low blocks and teams that will specifically prepare to take away your biggest strengths. Even when you play against teams in the bottom half of the table, you still have to work for your goals and chances. You don’t get to dominate every game simply because you’re the better player. Some teams will deny you space, others will match you physically, and some will just be a devil to you. I’m not even saying this to start telling you EPL is the best league or whatever. Just letting you know, it’s harder in EPL to stat-pad.
