Here is a picture of me in the Mynaric factory!
Thank you Matt and Paul and all the awesome people I have met today.
Rocket Lab is hiring a dedicated social media role for the first time.
I promise to never ask you to “just make it go viral.”
If you’ve got a good few years of experience under your belt running social and creating compelling content for established brands with big audiences, I want you to apply. Can be US or NZ based.

SPB and @MollySOShea. Full interview coming soon.
After we’d launched the first few Electrons, I remember wondering whether this job was going to get boring. 😅
Rocket Lab is acquiring Iridium Communications Inc – one of the most transformative deals in the space industry.
By combining our launch capability and satellite manufacturing with @IridiumComm’s global satellite communications network and rare spectrum, Rocket Lab becomes a fully integrated, self-launching, tier-1 space power, delivering critical communications capability to millions of users worldwide.

The deal would give Rocket Lab control over a satellite fleet and access to wireless resources it could use to compete with SpaceX. on.wsj.com/442dHVK
Rocket Lab agreed to buy Iridium Communications for $54 a share, in a cash-and-stock transaction that puts the satellite communications company at about $8 billion in enterprise value bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Space-based communications is becoming an even bigger story- poised to disrupt telecom even more:
@RocketLab acquiring @IridiumComm for $54/ share in a deal valued at $8 Billion.
$RKLB has been acquisitive for years but adding $IRDM means @Peter_J_Beck is building a vertically integrated company spanning satellite manufacturing, launch and now communications and other space-based applications- while also absorbing more necessary spectrum to do it.
This will create a more formidable competitor to $SPCX, and Blue Origin too
“Rather than simply continuing the Iridium network, Rocket Lab will build upon it to scale into untapped markets and pioneer new space-based services to the benefit of global customers.”

I’m hiring a Brand Designer to help tell Rocket Lab’s story visually.
You’ll be designing mission patches and merchandise, presentations and event graphics, digital campaigns and website content. We move crazy fast and work on everything from technical renders to social campaigns to rocket livery that'll end up in orbit. You need to keep up, communicate clearly, create stunningly beautiful work, and push it across the finish line without someone holding your hand. Could be based on Long Beach CA or NZ. Email me a link to your portfolio if you’re up for it. [email protected] I won’t be able to respond to everyone!

Rocket Lab is being added to the Nasdaq-100 Index.
This is a landmark moment for the team. We're incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved, and even more excited about what is still to come.
Hell yeah, nerds 🤘
These ‘nerds’ earned millions betting on space years before the SpaceX IPO made it cool trib.al/noI6PsS
Is it about time we got @MollySOShea to talk to SPB? Would you watch that?

Nine years ago today, we launched Electron for the first time.
Later this year, Electron is expected to reach 100 launches, likely making it the fastest privately developed orbital rocket to hit that milestone.
From “It’s a test” to one of the world’s highest cadence launch vehicles in under a decade.
Here's a little walk down memory lane from that first historic launch.

Gas stations in space? We’re working on it! ⛽
NASA is teaming up with Rocket Lab and Eta Space for LOXSAT, a low Earth orbit technology demo to address the challenges of using super-cold fuel in space. Launching aboard an Electron rocket, this demonstration could help shape the future of in-space propellant depots to refuel missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond: go.nasa.gov/4wzzq4h
