What a disappointment that turned out to be. Marketing fooled everyone. Released without essential features, buggy, shit gunplay, dumbed down gameplay. 1 year later and the game barely changed or even got worse in some aspects. But hey at least the shareholders are happy.

This has to be the most spot on take we've seen on BF6
BF6 one year in is a fundamentally broken, buggy mess with many conflicting design decisions making the gameplay feel like shit. Devs still dance around the issues using half measures instead of committing. They built the game to attract casual players, watered down the gameplay, farmed the money and the casuals still left! And the rest of us are left with this 3/10 shallow skeleton of a BF game.

The ultimate brutal truth nuke at this point in time is Battlefield 2042 has better gameplay
- Better visibility
- WAY better directional audio
- Larger skillgap
- Better vehicle gameplay (can't believe I'm typing this)
Does that mean 2042 is a good game? NO, absolutely not 馃槀, but it is better in crucial gameplay areas which is where it counts.
BF6 is intentionally gutted and shallow across every gameplay area in an attempt to retain casual players, but all it did was make the gameplay annoying for everyone.
