Every Time I Watch A Movie In Vision Pro I’m In AWE 🤯🍿✨
I just rolled the credits again on The Super Mario Galaxy Movie👏🏾, however after watching it both at a theater and in Vision Pro, watching in Vision Pro is by far a WAY BETTER 3D EXPERIENCE !
What’s cool is developers on the platform take the watching experience even further! Apps like @MoonVRPlayer allow you to also watch in immersive environments that completely pull you into what you’re watching. I love using the private cinema environment with my AirPod pros in!
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is available now to buy/rent in 3D from the Apple TV app on Vision Pro 💥 It’s definitely one I’m going to run back 😎

Finally got the movie poster widget working in updated Moon Player on Vision Pro.
Been playing around with it using Super Mario. You can pin the poster on your wall, see a bit of info about the film, and tap into it, feels kinda nice seeing it come to life in your space.

Airplane displays are incredibly boring and lack great content. Apple Vision Pro is a must-have for all travellers, especially those travelling on long-haul flights. I eagerly await Apple’s release of a more affordable AVP for the general public. #AppleVisionPro @MoonVRPlayer

You can now watch your favorite @AppleTV shows, @IMAX and YouTube from Moon Web for Meta Quest 3. It’s super fast and intuitive. Great job @MoonVRPlayer team. Waiting to get this feature on Apple Vision Pro 🙏🏽 #MetaQuest @MetaQuestVR

Not sure if it’ll show here, but an underrated @MoonVRPlayer feature is the option to improve image quality. Many 3D movies were only released in 1080p, but enabling this noticeably enhances video quality — a very welcome improvement :)

"You can never have too many Back to the Future posters."
Couldn’t agree more, @AlbertoCarlier .
Thanks for trying out the new Moon Player movie poster widget; your wall setup looks iconic.

I’m obsessed with the new visionOS 26 widgets, and I can’t stop pinning them all over my room! These things are like digital decor. The way they blend into my room and stay put every time I pop on my Vision Pro is just chef’s kiss. And yo, the new Moon Player widget? It’s gonna be SICK for jumping right back into my videos—smooth playback resume, no fuss, just vibes. #AppleVisionPro @MoonVRPlayer

Imagine working from your own private theater.
That’s exactly what it feels like using Mac Virtual Display with immersive apps like Moon Player and Theater.
It’s my new favorite way to work on Vision Pro. It’s kind of addicting.

🎉 We just hit 20,000 skyboxes in Moon Portal!
All of them now work in portals — including the new Skylight, just ported from our Vision Pro version.
🛠️ Official rollout is underway, but beta users can try it now.

This hotel TV is so tiny. Impossible to watch my shows or movies on it. Apple Vision Pro turns my room into a cinematic paradise. Always grateful to @Apple for inventing #AppleVisionPro. It changes everything. @MoonVRPlayer

I took it a step further and used @MoonVRPlayer to watch the trailer in Apple Vision Pro on a giant screen with Quality Boost and Realtime 3D.
Yea, I used AI to take an AI generated thing and make it sharper and fully 3D.
I kind of hate how much I loved it. Would I watch some of my favorite movies of all time remade this way? Yes I would. Turns out AI is getting to the point where it can do a very good job of taking the spirit of a live action scene and translating it to a compelling animation (at least better than the 1978 rotoscoped version of Lord of the Rings). And it's only going to get better.
I absolutely believe this kind of training should be done with consent and licensing fees. Miyazaki hates AI and Lord of the Rings, so this kind of seems like a slap in the face to him.
Ugh.
What if Studio Ghibli directed Lord of the Rings?
I spent $250 in Kling credits and 9 hours re-editing the Fellowship trailer to bring that vision to life—and I’ll show you exactly how I did it 👇🏼

Playing a movie from a USB drive on your Meta Quest using Moon Player is a fantastic entertainment option. It’s simple: Just plug in the USB, launch the app, and you’re set for a private, immersive viewing experience. Plus, I’m giving away keys so you can try it out yourself👇🏼Good luck! #MetaQuest @MoonVRPlayer
