If a startup asked me 2 yrs back top things they should focus on, my answer was a) Build a great product & b) Sell the crap out it. I've now added 'Build a great culture everyone is proud of from day 1'. How important do u think focusing on culture is for pre-seed/seed startups?

Agree so much with this. I was 100% a culprit of this in my first startup. I now always recommend to early-stage startup founders that I invest in or advise to send out monthly updates to your investors groups with the good, the bad and the ugly.
Some founders disappear on bad news & reappear on good news. Completely natural reaction (who likes to share bad news?) but not a good strategy: not only do you lose credibility but miss out on the opportunity to leverage your investors to help deal w/ the bad news situation.

Congratulations to my good friend @MarieChevy and my @SamplerBusiness family on the new raise! I love seeing them constantly innovate and grow in the digital sampling space. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Getting ready to talk to someone who I found through one of the @domm ‘s tweet, so it’s only appropriate if I wear the @fast hoodie!

My number #2 recommendation to all early-stage founders that are building companies today is to define your company culture early and hold people accountable to it.

Couldn’t agree more! Money solves problems, but it usually can’t solve PMF.
In SaaS, anyone that says they can't grow after $4m-$5m without raising a ton of money either - Has Unhappy Customers - Has Noncompetitive Product - Looking for an Excuse
Hahahahaha, I can relate.

Just putting it out there- @JohnMayer knows how to entertain! Current Mood is one of the best semi-scripted ‘talk’ show on social media and John deserves an Emmy (and a Grammy) for it.
Woaaahhh that was @fast. Just placed my order and checkout took less than 5 seconds 😮 @domm

What an incredible and open thread from @stewart on a crazy few weeks at @SlackHQ. We need more leaders from public companies to stand up and provide similar updates.
My day job (also: night job) is CEO of Slack, a publicly traded company with investors to whom I am a fiduciary, 110k+ paying customers of all sizes, and thousands of employees I care about very, very much. The last few weeks have been 🤯😳😢 Here’s what it's been like. [Thread]
My friend @michaelzakkour is always on top of everything eComm and a must follow. Check out the recent @voxdotcom article he was quoted on.
