I've been developing Tales of Virtue for 3 years, with so much progress in the last year alone. I started imagining this world in 2020, and its crazy to see how far it's come. I appreciate anyone that shares this. I have a Friends & Family prototype set to release in August 2026.
Ilu is orbited by three moons, two of which you can see below, the Watcher and the Dreamer. We used quads, custom shaders, and an alpha texture to make them stand out. Our celestial system now works with moon phases, which you can see in the video below! #indiedev #madewithunity
Really cool project in the works with elegon.app/. Really polished UI, lots of progression systems, and a truly solid foundation for an MMO that feels modern while hinting at older, classic genre design.
Really excited for #WolvesofModor from @lotro and @StandingStoneMA this week. The developers continue to impress with their creative liberties and always make it feel like it fits, but in their own way. Appreciate how dedicated they are to the game. #lotro
Thoroughly enjoyed my time in Monsters and Memories EA @NicheWorldsCult @MnM_MMO. Breathtaking views and handcrafted artstyle.
This is a tremendous milestone for me personally. Hope you'll check out the latest devlog for Tales of Virtue. #indiedev
Incredibly excited reading about the next steps for one of my favorite games with The Wolves of Mordoer! Can't wait to preorder! @StandingStoneMA @lotro #lotro

Now, if you look up at night, you may see a meteor streak across the sky burning through Ilu's atmosphere upon entry. If you wait long enough, you may even see a meteor shower! Thanks for any follows or support. #indiedev #madewithunity #indiegame

So my game flopped after 3 years of work...😢
Since its release on May 26th, I've sold 77 copies... Streamers and curious gamers loved it.
I have 2800 wishlists, 800 of which are from the release date....
What do you think? Be honest.🙏

What a beautiful ending to the Hamat Renewed storyline and Mizadi's own personal arc. Bravo @StandingStoneMA and @lotro. The moment to moment story beats that leverage dialogue, environment interaction, and emotes really help each moment sink in! Well done! #lotro
One of my earliest Let's Plays ever was Victor's adaptation of Fabled Lands (which I still need to return to the sequels!). Excited to read his progress as it shows how passionate he is about making it even better in the smallest of ways that is going to have huge payoffs.
How do you make a classic 80s gamebook feel great as a PC tactical RPG? ⚔️

I didn't expect this post to blow up like it did...
Thank you for all the new follows and kind words about the project!
I appreciate all feedback and getting the opportunity to include the community in every step of the process, so it's always nice to see such an overwhelmingly positive response to features and design choices.
To everyone just discovering Mortal Crux, here's a previous feature recap for a bit more scope of the project.
Thank you for taking this journey with me! ⚔️

I might not have a new trailer for any gaming showcases today, but here are a few updates to how menus work. 😂
1) Character physics are now simulated and respond to mouse input while previewing your gear in the equipment screen. Previously physics were only active during gameplay, and a static model was used for menu renders.
2) Menus now have real-time lighting that can be changed by clicking on torches in the background.
