In the wake of our documentary on NHS antisemitism, more incidents are emerging.
Dr Mazin Fageir, a senior trauma and orthopaedic surgeon and consultant at the Royal Free Hospital in London, has allegedly published hate-filled content online.
One such post from May 2021 appears to depict the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, with stereotypically accentuated facial features, pushing a coffin into what appears to be a Nazi concentration camp oven, above which are the words “Arbeit Macht Frei” – a reference to the sign hanging above the entrance to the Auschwitz concentration camp. The coffin is covered with a Palestinian Authority flag.
According to the International (IHRA) Definition of Antisemitism, which the NHS has adopted, “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis” is an example of antisemitism.
Another alleged post published by Dr Fageir, marking the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, was apparently a repost of an AI image purporting to show Orthodox Jewish men celebrating outside the Twin Towers. This echoes a shameful antisemitic conspiracy theory that Jews were involved in the 9/11 attacks.
As our documentary showed, this sort of obscene rhetoric has become dangerously normalised in the NHS, where medical practitioners and staff are fostering a hostile environment for Jewish people.
Hate in healthcare is spiralling out of control, and employers and regulators are asleep at the wheel.
You can watch the documentary at antisemitism.org/NHS.

HUGE story from @Telegraph tonight.
UEFA paid off an alleged mistress of Gianni Infantino while he was its general secretary.
The woman received a six-figure sum after the alleged relationship with Mr Infantino while he was a top official at European football’s governing body.
She is alleged to have been promoted by Mr Infantino during their relationship. After she left, the football body is said to have paid for her to do an MBA at a business school.

No one could write an opening sentence like Rod Liddle. As his editor, I called it the “cocaine intro”: one line and you were hooked.
But his jokes were built on judgment, rigour, compassion - and the greatest satirical writing of our times.

I did this podcast with the legendary @mickbrownwriter. We found one of the world’s most wanted men seven years ago. But that wasn’t the end of the story. Just the beginning. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as me and Mick enjoyed making it podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcas…

As parishioners filed past vats of instant coffee to their seats in the tearoom at Buckfast Abbey, one chair remained conspicuously empty.
“She was sitting in this very seat last week,” Davina Hamilton-Lake told The Telegraph, gesturing to the unoccupied space at the long table.
