The craziest thing about that flying car is that Elon Musk is in the Epstein files.

Really Helen, is this all you have to say? Considering the charges your predecessor is facing, I thought you might show a little more backbone and speak up. Instead of which you point the finger elsewhere and effectively betray your own gender for faux leadership position. Poor.

The craziest thing about that flying car is that Donald Trump raped kids with Jeffrey Epstein.

😱😱😱 And just like that, it’s completely VANISHED from the media.
A sitting congressman, Ted Lieu, said on the record the Epstein files are being blocked because they show Trump raped and threatened to kill children.
Lets make this viral again 👇

So best not keep sharing it.

Durham chaos: Reform UK’s flagship falling apart
Durham was supposed to be Reform UK’s proof of concept.
It is now a warning.
When the party won 65 seats in May 2025, Nigel Farage said Durham would “set the markers for how we intend to govern”.
65 is now 55. 50 and it’s No Overall Control.
Defections, bullying allegations, internal warfare, disappearing promises, a huge financial black hole and a majority that is rapidly collapsing.
Those are the real markers, Nigel.
Sky falling in on them
This week’s Sky News investigation spoke to a dozen people linked to the Reform administration, former Reform councillors went on record described the leadership as “autocratic”, “narcissistic” and “our way or the highway”.
That follows our earlier reports of bullying, intimidation and behaviour including claims that wine was opened during an afternoon meeting, vaping and mental-health concerns that were dismissed or mocked.
Andrew Husband disputes parts of those accounts. But he would, wouldn’t he? It’s on his watch. He can’t deny he’s losing councillors.
The “golden triangle”
At the heart of Durham Council sits a ‘golden triangle’:
John Hewitt, Chief Executive.
Andrew Husband, Leader of Durham Council
Helen Bradley, Monitoring Officer and Head of Legal and Democratic Services.
Added to this is Deputy Leader Darren Grimes.
Between them they hold Durham’s political power, they are the senior management they ‘monitor’ and govern councillor conduct.
The order here is important. At the top is the CEO, who it is said, is the real welder of power. To the point where Husband and Grimes are characterised as puppets.
The ‘golden triangle’ needs to be the focus of the press. The role of the CEO and Head of Legal needs to be questioned. Are they contributing to the chaos by defending Husband and stamping out complaints?
Remember again - councillors are voting with their feet.
The botchjob-businessman
Reform sold Andrew Husband as the businessman who would bring commercial discipline to County Hall.
Then came scrutiny of his own business record.
The Sunday Times reported that businesses he owned or directed entered insolvency with combined liabilities of around £1.5 million, including debts to HMRC and other creditors.
Husband blamed everyone and everything he could on the failure. The buck stops anywhere but at Husband’s desk.
For a leader elected on a platform of financial competence, the optics are worthy of a trip to Specsavers.
£83 million: so much for efficiency
Durham is now forecasting an £83m funding gap over the next four years.
The administration has identified £21.5 million in proposed savings. Even if every penny is delivered, more than £62 million would still remain.
Whatever happened to DOGE?
Remember DOGE?
Reform UK promised an Elon Musk-style efficiency revolution.
Then Durham admitted Reform’s national DOGE team had not even visited. Now even the brand has gone. Grimes says it has identified more than £20 million in savings. His own Argentinian chainsaw revolution.
Now put that next to a £83.7 million shortfall. Looks like Grimes and co took a pair of pruning secateurs to a beanstalk.
And yes, the magic beans analogy is intended.
From landslide to cliff edge
And then there is the number Reform cannot spin away.
They won 65 seats.
Recent reporting says they are now down to 55. On a 98-seat council, 50 seats are needed for an overall majority.
From a landslide to the brink of NOC in little more than a year.
The flagship is sinking
Durham was meant to show Britain what Reform UK government would look like.
Perhaps it has.
Councillors walking out. Bullying allegations. Autocratic leadership. Failed businesses. The ‘golden triangle’. The £83.7 million financial shortfall. A DOGE promise. A majority gone.
Durham Council was supposed to be Reform UK’s showcase.
It is now a warning.
