One of our P5 pupils was so pleased to see her art work brought to life by @MonikieRockArt. P5 learned about the Picts as part of our Monikie topic. David very kindly came to speak to them and even more kindly carved the winning design on to stone! #community @AngusCouncil

We'd like to say a huge thanks to George for coming to speak to the P1/2 children about her job as a #parkranger at Monikie as part of our whole school learning. She brought us a bird house for our garden too! #community #sustainability #IDL @AngusCouncil @angusalive

#reallifelearning our P3 to P5s are fascinated by trees being taken down and pruned in the playground so we've embraced their enthusiasm and are watching from a safe distance.

An excellent opportunity for our staff to engage in quality CLPL. @MonikiePS #clusterlearning

Our friendship bench is a great addition to our playground. Thanks to our ex-pupil Beau who won £500 for the school!
