We checked out Louisville’s newest international grocery store, Saraga, on our way home from church today. It was packed. We’ll be back!🙌❤️🫶🏼

I may not remember where I was on 9/11, but the stories have always stuck with me. I’m always thinking of the generations of families impacted by this morning 25 years ago… but more so today.🙏
Today we will lead the world in commemorating the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Twenty-five years after the day that changed our world forever, we will come together to read aloud the names of those lost. Join us live: ow.ly/vJlK50ZIr05

This September 11 marks 25 years since our nation was forever changed.
For a quarter century, Tribute in Light has served as a powerful symbol of remembrance, illuminating the New York City skyline in honor of the nearly 3,000 people whose lives were lost.
This year, for the first time, people across the country will have the opportunity to witness the Tribute in Light together.
Join us on Friday, September 11, at 8 PM ET for "9/11 Tribute in Light: Live from Lower Manhattan, presented by @ABC in partnership with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum." The special will air across ABC, @DisneyPlus, @hulu, @NatGeo, and @ABCNewsLive, with live performances from @laineywilson, Cyndi Lauper, and @johnondrasik of Five For Fighting.
Twenty-five years later, it is more important than ever that we come together to remember those we lost, honor their lives and legacy, and ensure that their stories are never forgotten.

Please give this praiseworthy account a follow. There are always stories to tell, accounts of heroism to learn, tales of inspiration to draw from. May we never forget the innocents who perished on 9/11 but left a lasting legacy for us to emulate. @Sept11Memorial

Another programming note. Later this month, the vast majority of the news content from past years on WDRB's website will disappear to the public, and our work going forward will appear on a site combined with WAVE.
This material will include years of stories and columns of mine. I have my own archive of all that, but if there are stories or photos about you, your parents, children, or things you'd otherwise like to save a copy of, I'd encourage you to print or save copies now. I'm always available to help anyone who is looking for an old story or column. Just issuing a head's up now.

Remembering Dolly Parton.❤️
We were fortunate to welcome Dolly to the Kentucky Derby Festival in the 1970s and again in 1993.
Her visits left us with memories we’ll always treasure.💫
