It's been 3 weeks since the surgery. Still crazy to think that when they put me under I had no idea what they would actually do. They said they might cut out a bit of small intestine. I woke up 4 hours later and 1/3rd of my colon was gone.

Now it's possible they did tell me before the surgery but it was midnight and I was on an absurd amount of painkillers. Still quite a shock
