I’m a human 3D artist. My Attack on Titan fan-made short film is a project I started in 2022 and released in June 2024. I redesigned all of the Titans myself. I didn’t use any AI, and I never made any money from this short film.
To be honest, I originally didn’t want to talk about this. In order to discuss it, I actually had to subscribe to X Premium.
Throughout 2025 and 2026, I started seeing more and more comments like this on my YouTube channel:
“Your one and a half years of work? I can make that with AI in 30 seconds.”
“I can do it in one minute.”
“I can do it in 90 seconds.”
So I started looking into it. The first AI short film I found was actually made by modifying footage from my original film, while being presented as an AI-generated work.
I felt pretty disappointed.
If you think AI can make something better than what I made, then please create something better from scratch.
I’ve always found it difficult to accept being mocked while my work is also being taken and reused.
Since 2018, I’ve been focused on creating the things I genuinely love. I’ve done it simply because I love creating, and I’ve never made a single cent from these works.
As a result, my financial situation has actually been quite difficult. For a while, I was really struggling with the thought that maybe I should have spent the past few years trying to make as much money as possible.
Was trying to make a living by creating the things I love just a foolish fantasy?
Then I watch Orb: On the Movements of the Earth. There’s one line in the series that really stayed with me:
“Being wrong doesn’t mean it was meaningless.”
So recently, I’ve slowly started to accept something.
If I don’t make the things I love, I don’t think I would be happy even if I had a job.
I’ll keep looking for a way forward. Whether that means working harder, finding ways to make money so I can continue making short films, or finding some other way, I still want to keep creating the things I love.

10 months later. I still stand by every word of this.
The failures of Black Ops 7 have much more to do with the MW19-BO6 era of Call of Duty than Black Ops 7 itself.
It’s a culmination of franchise fatigue, 1 step forward 2 steps back, feeling ignored and a lack of excitement or passion about where the franchise is heading.
Personally, I think Black Ops 7 is the best Call of Duty game in many, many years. The Co-Op Campaign is a stain on an otherwise fantastic, well-rounded title. But I can acknowledge that whilst also acknowledging that the franchise fatigue is higher than ever right now, we should’ve got a game like this 3 or 4 years ago, and that perhaps the entire franchise needs another MW19 style reboot, with a new universe and franchise model.
Annual releases need to be reconsidered. The messy connected MW/BO storyline needs to be abandoned. Open matchmaking needs to stay (absolutely non-negotiable @InfinityWard) and Warzone’s influence need not be touching Campaign, Multiplayer or Zombies. Have it be its own thing.
I love Call of Duty and it feels good to really enjoy a new release again, but I’m nervous about MW4 and am concerned that Activision claim to have the next 4 releases already mapped out. They shouldn’t. Stop the assembly line model and rethink a healthy, sustainable future for Call of Duty where it can grow and evolve. Not stagnate and slip off the throne.
Also, why not remaster old titles? It’d buy the mainline studios more time to make the best games possible and is something we’ve been wanting ever since MWR. If you need to re-balance some things, so be it. I’m not opposed to remakes either as long as they’re faithful enough. The time will eventually pass to remaster/remake those classic 2007-2012 games so do it whilst people still want them! We’re not getting any younger😂
Honestly, I just feel proud of the developers that do their best with this franchise but feel so frustrated with the suits and ties that oversee everything and put metrics over human beings. They have no foresight for this franchise. It’s just all about making more money this quarter than the last.
I look forward to the rest of BO7 and SHG’s 2027 release. Infinity Ward have to win me back after alienating me with MW19 + MW22. Here’s hoping for COD🙏
