My morning takeaway from Surah 18, The Cave, Ayats 23–40 is simple: keep Allah at the center of everything.
Ayats 23–24 remind us that tomorrow is not promised and that our plans should always be made with *“If Allah please.”Ayats 25–31 teach us to hold firmly to Allah’s guidance, surround ourselves with those sincerely seeking Him, and remember that our choices have consequences.
Then Ayats 32–40 through the parable of the two gardens, remind us not to become arrogant because of our possessions, accomplishments, status, or influence. Everything we have is by Allah’s permission and can change at any moment.
That ties directly into my reminder today: take care of yourself, enjoy your life, love your family, encourage others, and stop wasting precious energy arguing with people who have nothing to do with your purpose.
Stay focused on Allah. Stay focused on the work. Be grateful for your garden, but never forget Who gave you the garden.
Protect your peace, protect your purpose, and keep Allah first.
