When I feel injustice and anger, on whose behalf am I feeling it? Certainly not now for the constituencies in the former ‘Red Wall’ in England. I’ll still argue for the oppressed and disenfranchised but the left is a minority now fighting against an ocean of indifference.

I hate the use of the phrase, ‘getting our freedoms back’ in respect of the end of lockdown, as if the government has imprisoned people unreasonably and against their will. It’s our ‘freedom’ not to be killed by Covid.
