A second trip to Whitby today led to a wider model train search coming away with a Hornby Class 29 with a pristine 70s box, spotting a BR 31 in action and meeting a real Yorkshire legend... more will be explained on video soon :)

Yorkshire smoke unit has finally died, 7 months after it was first installed, she's done very well for the time and lengths she has run as a smoker.
Hopefully another unit will be found for her at a later date.
In looking over this week's purchases from the collectors fair, one of the modifed Mainline locos picked up had a slot in its split chasis front... Looks like this was set to be a smoker having a set up similar to Bachmann.
Been years since I saw these adverts for a Tracy Island toy... And a favourite this one was of mine too... #thunderbirds
