During yesterday's post match press conference, Daniel Farke revealed that he was booked during the game for 'leaving his technical area'. Now although we can agree that leaving the technical area can result in a yellow card, we find it absolutely comical that this happened at the Emirates..
Mikel Arteta is infamous for leaving his technical area, entering the pitch and standing exactly on the line, although he NEVER gets booked for it. Booking the Leeds manager for doing it once at the Emirates, doesn't seem fair when you never book the Arsenal manager for doing it all game every single week.
It really does leave a sour thought in your head that the Premier League referees are now very likely to be favouring the 'Top Clubs' when it comes to yellow cards and refereeing decisions...
When you look further into yesterday's game you will also see that the non equal treatment in yellow cards wasn't just for managers, but it was for the players also, Leeds couldn't make a challenge without getting booked, whilst Arsenal could do what they want...

Alexander Isak was booked just before the international break for jumping into the crowd to celebrate. Fair enough, the rules say that's an automatic yellow.
Today Bruno G did exactly the same for Arsenal against Leeds and got away without a card. One rule for Arsenal, another for everyone else, again. The Premier League needs to sort out this obvious favouritism.

Paul Tierney whenever a Leeds player went near Arsenal! #LUFC
Consistency from the Premier League refs is desperately needed rather than selective decisions across the league as to who the team is.... certain teams can do what they like as this picture clearly shows. Make it fair or find better unbiased refs #lufc #arsenal #premierleague

The standard of Premier League officiating and bias is a disgrace week after week!
People will say it’s moan moan moan! Think of the implications… We pick up needless bookings each week, players are suspended on 5 cards, it harms the team. If the thresholds for seeing yellow are different for big 6 teams, there’s your unfair advantage and thus less suspensions for them.

🚨 Roy Keane on the refereeing in Arsenal vs Leeds:
🗣️“Are Arsenal players immune to yellow cards or what? Because I don’t understand what I’m watching here.
The entire first half has been about Leeds players getting booked. Every time you look, another Leeds player is in trouble with the referee.
But the Tanaka booking for the challenge on Lewis-Skelly was ridiculous. Skelly tried to dribble past him, lost the ball, and Tanaka read it perfectly to win possession. What exactly has he done wrong there?
I genuinely don’t understand the decision. Even Tanaka’s reaction tells you everything. The lad couldn’t believe he’d been booked.
Look, if it’s a foul, it’s a foul. Book him if he’s committed a bookable offence. But you have to apply the same standards to both teams. You cannot keep punishing one side and expect people not to question your decisions.
The consistency is the problem here, and the referee needs to explain that decision.”

Leeds were robbed of a penalty there against Arsenal. Gabriel never goes for the ball once, clatters into Calvert-lewin from behind and wraps his arms round his legs. Against any other side in the Premier League, VAR takes another look at that.
Flip it round and put it at the other end, and Arsenal are getting that penalty every single time. Once again just no consistency from the VAR officials...
Says it all when Roy Keane sides with #lufc

Daniel Farke on the officiating:
“Three fouls on DCL in the first half, stopping good counter-attacking opportunities, and not one yellow card. There was no consistency in the decisions, and when I asked the fourth official for an explanation, he couldn’t provide one.” 😤 #LUFC
This ⬇️ so much biased to Arsenal is there any wonder they win 🤔
Replying to @GrahamSmyth
Referee can’t see Arsenal players battering Leeds players!!! DCL clattered in the back, nothing!! Stach fouled by Saka, nothing!! Tanaka wins ball, Arsenal players throws himself to ground holding face, Ao booked!!! Standard Tierney
