Crypto.com Data Leak Allegedly Exposes User Information
Crypto.com, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange and financial services company headquartered in Singapore, has allegedly been compromised, leading to a significant data leak. The incident suggests that a substantial amount of user data may have been exposed.
The allegedly compromised data includes:
* Emails
* Names
* Usernames
* Phone Numbers
* Addresses
* Date of Birth
* IP Addresses
* Citizenship
* Passport Scan, ID Card Scan, Driver License Scan
* Source of Funds
* Residential Proof
* Profession
* Selfie
* Account creation date and time
* Account activity
* KYC information for different tiers

Seems addresses are being actively drained from @cryptocom accounts through phising emails with email spoofing.
So far the scammers wallet accumulated $4 Million in $ETH
The transactions seem to be coming from the withdrawal wallets.
1⃣ Do not click on links in EMAILS and DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE.
2⃣ If they want to call you that is just distraction
3⃣ DO NOT Disable the 24 hour withdrawal lock in your app, that is an extra layer for your own safety so you have time to react at least.
They setup a passkey then they have all access to your assets.
I will try to keep update the community, but it would be nice if @kris and @ericnode would communicate something.

It seems scammers are targeting @cryptocom users again and the messages coming from the hello@cryptocom email address.
While they have your name and email address, they should not be able to replicate your anti-phising code so be extra vigilant.
At the same time it would be great if @kris or @ericnode would confirm if there was no major dataleak recently at the company.
