One Piece aired on local tv in my country back when I was around 13. The anime stopped airing at the end of the Loguetown arc; I was so hooked that I had to buy a pirate copy (lol) of the anime to watch the rest, which led me to the manga aaand here we are, 19 years later...!

I’ve dropped & picked up the manga several times, the 1st time I dropped it was after 🔥's death & stopped watching the anime after the time skip. I’m currently trying to catch up with it again (though I already know everything that’s happening right now thanks to spoilers haha)
