The single biggest promise used to justify the destruction of British industry has just been officially exposed as a total fraud.
Ed Miliband swore to working class communities that Labour's Net Zero crusade would create 860,000 clean energy jobs across Great Britain.
Now Labour's own favourite left leaning think tank, the Resolution Foundation, has admitted that fewer than one in ten of those roles will ever be permanent jobs in industrial hubs like Aberdeen and Grimsby!
They wiped out our North Sea oil and gas, crushed domestic manufacturing, and sent household energy bills soaring to 1,723 pounds a year on the promise of a green jobs boom.
And what did our proud coastal and industrial towns get in return? Collapsing living standards, lost careers, and managed decline.
Net Zero was never about creating wealth for British workers. It was an ideological scam designed to deindustrialise our nation and make us dependent on foreign energy.

This morning, I received a phone call from my Victim Liaison Officer confirming that my abusers are still going to be released after serving just 50% of their sentences.
Mohammed Usman is due to be released on 24 August, just next week, 7.5 years before the end of his 15-year sentence.
Because my abusers were sentenced in 2019, they fall under the rules that applied before the changes introduced in 2020. They therefore aren't subject to the 67% threshold that applies to many offenders sentenced later. By mere months, they avoided those changes.
I am grateful that they are no longer being considered for release after just 33%. But I cannot pretend that serving 50% of a 15–20 year sentence is justice.
Over the next 12 months, five violent sexual offenders who were convicted in relation to my abuse will be released having served only half of their sentences.
There is nothing I can do now to prevent those releases. And I have had to accept that, however difficult that is.
But this isn't where the fight ends.
We are already working on a campaign to make sure that when these offenders are released, any breach of their licence conditions is taken seriously and met with the full force of the law.
Violent sexual offenders should never walk out of prison believing they have simply "got away with it." Victims should never be left feeling that a 15 year sentence, or more, actually means serving only half of it.
I have spent years fighting for justice, not just for myself, but for thousands of victims whose lives were permanently changed by these men and other abusers like them.
I am grateful that the rules have moved away from the possibility of release after 33% and that many are serving longer behind bars, but 50% still leaves a very bitter pill to swallow.
This cannot continue.
Justice has to be about victims and public safety, nothing else.

In this country it is not normal for people to take legal action against MPs.

Banksy's identity revealed: it's Robin Gunningham, who changed his name
Following an extensive, years-long investigation, Reuters reporters have concluded that the anonymous street artist known as Banksy is Robin Gunningham, a Bristol-born graffiti artist born in 1973. According to the report, Gunningham legally changed his name to David Jones around 2008—likely to further protect his privacy after earlier speculation about his identity.
This echoes a 2008 investigation by The Mail on Sunday, which first publicly identified Gunningham as Banksy. Reuters bolstered their findings with evidence including a 2000 New York arrest record featuring Gunningham's handwritten confession (linked to Banksy through geolocation and timing of related photos), travel patterns, interviews, and other public records.
Much of the evidence and proof cited to support the theory that Banksy is Robin Gunningham was already published between 2023 and 2025 but it was never finally confirmed.
Banksy himself has not commented on this revelation.

The truth about Nigerian Muslims is worst than you think.
October 11, 1991, a German evangelist named Reinhard Bonke planned a large Christian crusade in the northern Nigerian city of Kano.
Christians were excited about the event, and the hype was widespread.
Many Muslims did not like this, and they opposed it, believing that Kano belonged to Islam and that Christians should not hold such a crusade there.
Fearing that Christianity was becoming too popular in Kano, members of the so-called "religion of peace" then took to the streets and began rioting.
Within hours, they started lynching innocent Christians, burning their homes, churches, and businesses.
Christian Children, women and men alike.
Christians were lynched, raped, impaled, butchered, and burned alive.
This targeted violence against Christians continued for days. Many Christian families disappeared, never to be seen again.
Entire Christian neighborhoods became empty, with homes and businesses seized by Muslims after the owners were killed.
By the time the army finally intervened and stopped the killings, hundreds of Christians were dead, thousands were injured, and hundreds of thousands had been displaced.
The military government underreported the death toll as about 100 to 200.
However, survivors and other accounts claim that more than 500 Christians died.
These acts were not carried out by Terrorists, they were carried out by everyday Muslims that knew the people they were killing, the type of Muslims you call your friends.
The crusade was canceled, and the victims never received any justice or compensation.
Today, some of those who carried out the killings, or their children, can be found online proclaiming that Islam is a religion of peace and accusing others of being Islamophobic and saying there is no Christians genocide in Nigeria
