Recently, the House passed H.R. 10326, the PROOF Act.
This legislation will strengthen federal-state cooperation to prevent fraud in high-dollar federal programs and allow agencies to collaborate in investigations and prosecutions.
The bill holds agencies accountable by requiring annual reports to Congress. It requires strict privacy and data-security safeguards and limits how federal agencies can use the information.
Happy Birthday to @drjefffugate! A biblical Pastor and a genuine friend!

A secure border is essential to U.S. national security.
Earlier this week, I voted YES on the Secure America Act to provide continued funding for CBP and ICE, ensuring the men and women who protect our nation have the resources they need to keep American citizens safe.

On this Memorial Day, let us take time to reflect and remember the men and women who laid down their lives in defense of our nation.
May we always honor their selfless sacrifice and unwavering commitment to protecting the freedoms we are blessed to have in America today. God bless. 🇺🇸

As a nation, we must always stand by and support our Veterans.
I am honored to co-sponsor the Major Richard Star Act, H.R. 2102.
This bipartisan legislation will ensure that when a Veteran has to retire early due to combat or combat-related injuries, they receive both their disability benefits and the full retirement pay that they have rightfully earned.
I urge this legislation to be taken up, passed, and enacted swiftly.

At a time when culture often seeks to push it aside, Faith Month is a reminder that faith is meant to grow and be shared in the world around us.
We’re called to live it out and to never take for granted the freedom to do so.
For 250 years, faith in Christ has guided our nation through moments of triumph and trial.
This Faith Month, Members of Congress are coming together to honor the enduring role of faith in America’s founding and our future.
Join us in praying for our nation and giving thanks for the blessings bestowed upon our country.

Homeschool your children!
It's more important than cable.
It's more important than a cell phone.
It's more important than a new car.
It's more important than Starbucks.
Your children are worth the sacrifice.
Get them out of failing government schools. @DeAngelisCorey

This fall, God did something only He can do. Nearly 2,000 precious souls made professions of faith as our students carried the Gospel beyond church property and into everyday life.
We rejoice, not in numbers, but in grace.
At CBC, soul winning isn’t a program—it’s our DNA.

A blessing to have Bill & Lynne Norton at WBC last night! They are going back to Mexico as missionaries. Bill got saved at WBC in 1985. We honored he and Lynne with the Ronald Fenwick Christian service Award for their decades of ministry service. To God be the glory. It was great to reconnect and share stories of the wonderful heritage at Woodlawn. #Faithful

For over 40 days, Senate Democrats utilized the destruction of a federal government shutdown to politically grandstand and demand $1.5 trillion in new spending, a staggering request for a nation $38 trillion in debt.
Regardless of the pain the shutdown inflicted on families, Veterans, and our troops, the Senate minority persisted in holding the government hostage unless they received taxpayer-funded healthcare for noncitizens and the repeal of much-needed reforms enacted through H.R. 1—reforms that restored accountability in our federal healthcare programs and, as confirmed by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), are projected to lower premiums for eligible Americans.
Thankfully, their politically motivated tactics proved unsuccessful.
Tonight’s funding extension maintains the original position I supported over a month ago—to keep the government working for the American People and to cut wasteful Washington spending by returning Congress to regular order.

In Idaho, we have a governing rule that legislation must have a single subject matter.
I am spearheading H.R. 4324 to bring that standard to D.C.
When federal lawmakers take up bills, they need to be germane to the issue at hand, ensuring each topic receives a separate vote.

My colleagues on the other side of the aisle are pushing a message that Republicans are causing a government shutdown.
Aside from being disingenuous, this is false.
Two weeks ago the House passed a clean, non-partisan, 7-week funding bill that keeps the government open, pays our troops, ensures seniors receive their benefits, and keeps both Chambers on track to finish FY26 appropriations bills the right way—through regular order.
Now, Democrats are threatening to shut down the government if their new partisan spending demands, totaling $1.5 trillion, are not met.
This is not effective governing.
The American People deserve a government that is open and working for them.
