Thank you so much for the invite from @KinnairdWaters to their STEM Nation Award celebration last night! Was so lovely to see the children showing off their STEM work and hear about the journey they have all been on to achieve the award. Congratulations to all! #STEMLarbert

First STEM Family Learning session at @StenhousemuirPS this week. We used @scratch to develop our coding skills, making animations and games. #STEMLarbert #FalkirkSTEMpire @RAiSE_falkirk @RaiseScotland

Thank you to those who came along to CPD on Coding in the Primary Classroom (Early/First level). We explored Code and Go Mouse and Sphero Indi. Next week we are looking at Sphero Bolt (Second level) CPD - this can be found on CPD manager. #STEMLarbert @RAiSE_falkirk

Are you looking to develop your understanding of how to teach coding in ELC/primary school? Have you seen the amazing variety of resources to support coding available to borrow from library services? Check Falkirk CPD Manager for details of upcoming coding training! #STEMLarbert

P4B @StenhousemuirPS are exploring how to create code using coloured tiles with Sphero Indi. Lots of designing, testing, making adjustments and successes! If you are interested in some CPD on using Indi to teach coding see CPD Manager. #STEMLarbert #FalkirkSTEMpire @RAiSE_falkirk

P3 classes at @StenhousemuirPS have been enjoying experimenting with the new Sphero Indi resource for developing coding skills using coloured squares to provide blocks of code. Well done P3! #STEMLarbert #FalkirkSTEMpire @RAiSE_falkirk @RaiseScotland

Really enjoying seeing the amazing STEM work being showcased by @KinnairdWaters and @AirthNursery at the STEMposium tonight. Thank you to @RAiSE_falkirk for a really informative and inspiring event! #STEMLarbert #FalkirkSTEMpire

Great morning with the other RAiSE STEM Mentors looking at new resources. We looked at the Sphero Indi and the Sphero Bolts to explore progression within coding. If you would like to use these in your classroom look out for training in the new year. #STEMLarbert #FalkirkSTEMpire
