If you teach physics to 11 to 18 year olds then you absolutely need to get hold of a copy of Ben Rogers' superb new book "The big ideas in physics and how to teach them": bit.ly/2nou6PN. And that's not just my opinion. John Sweller describes it as "brilliant". Nuff said.
What an amazing week @bewlwater for our @sl_academy summer school. We have learned so much this week. We now know a heron from a grebe, an oak from a birch. We know how water is cycled and the importance of conservation. Many thanks to the wonderful staff for their hard work.
I am so proud of this. My daughter was so proud to be part of this and it gave her the confidence to come home and cook for us.
