It has took a bit of time to get over the shock/excitement. But here I am, celebrating becoming a QUALIFIED teacher of design and technology. Feeling amazing 🛠️📐🎓

After an amazing (but busy) half term 1 looking ahead into the lead up to end of term. Adding in a little more focus on myself and time planning wisely to be the best for my students.

First full week of teaching complete, a couple of tough moments here and there but feeling so lucky to have a supportive department and school! Onto next week.

How exhausting is having a social life? Forgot about this side of fun 😂😴

Got to be red surely?!

One day left of the first week fully qualified/employed. In information over drive but want to smile constantly. Massive opportunity for me to have a Y7 form and have influence on shaping their school career going forward. #ilovemyjob

Summer school completed and lit a fire under me for ECT term one. But first... Last week off 👌🏻🙏🏻

My main aim through the summer holidays is to break my habit of just scrolling for no reason. So very sick of it.

Oh my god... Term is over, I've done it. Now, to sleep for a week 😴

Looking for book recommendations (and places to buy a few reasonably priced books) for my first ever form who are Yr7. Would love to include some titles relating to sexuality, race, gender and any other important issues @MrTs_NQTs #ECT2021 #formtutor #edutwitter

Other half has been 'pinged' hoping for continued negative LFT's and no symptoms to allow me to be able to get out and about and enjoy the start of the summer break on Friday 🤞🏻

Would love some recommendations for books (nothing expensive) suitable for Yr7 to read for pleasure #yr7 #books #teacher #reading #ect2021 #formtutor

I have a Yr7 form next year and have been asked to write an introduction for a letter going out to families (no more than 150 words) - are there any things that I should definitely include #ECTSecondary #FormTutor #yr7 @MrTs_NQTs

Currently working on a new Yr10 project based around interior design, and I've never enjoyed planning more. Any must cover graphic artists/interior design work send it my way!

Been invited to transition evening next week to meet my new form. Pretty excited about it!

Tomorrow is my last day as a trainee, I repeat, tomorrow is my last day as a trainee 😳

This little strawberry is on the way, first year I've had my own garden and loving it!

T minus one week until QTS recommendation! I'm starting to get emotional!

Ended the school day escorting a grumpy pigeon out of the building... I'd rather deal with students than the fight he put up
