STEM challenges are the perfect end of year activity. Today my students made paper plate marble mazes. To complete the task students needed to use creativity, engineering, and problem solving skills. #5thGrade #STEMeducation

Our last project for our space unit was to make physical models of our solar system. Student worked in pairs to paint each planet accurately and then put the system together in the correct order. Try and spot some of the other elements they added! #5th #Science #art

Our last unit in 5th grade science is all about our solar system! Students have been learning about our planets, moons, and other objects in space. These past few weeks we have been creating projects to help teach others about space too. Check out our Planetgrams! #science

What a better way to get kids excited about math than letting them learn more about the numbers they use everyday! Students each picked a number and then used research and personal knowledge to create a poster with facts about their number. So many skills were applied! #math #5th

Today in 5th grade science we learned all about engineers. After learning about their design process we were ready to take on a #stem challenge! The students were so excited to “help out” the @RiderWBB who we will be watching play against Mount St. Marys tomorrow. Go broncs!
